			<description><![CDATA[So, now that ShockEd works great again with the updates etc, I've decided to get back to making an FM. Still kind of getting used to the editor again....but I have a lot of resources (sounds, voice actors, etc) from a studio I worked with, so I can make a full on FM.

No release date, but I'll provide a back story...

I added a spoiler tag because this takes place immediately after the events on the Von Braun, and the back story may ruin the game for somebody who hasn't played It yet....but come on o_O who really hasn't played this game?

Late 2114 - Goggles is preparing the Von Braun to return to earth. He has relayed information to Earth that the Von Braun has a lot of bio-hazardous material on board. TriOp has redirected the Von Braun to the old TriOptimum biological research facility on Titan. TriOp sends out a team of scientists to Titan to gather the chemical simply known as XCT-3302 produced there after the Citadel incident. The chemical was developed as a weapon to break down and destroy the mutation that SHODAN created on Citadel, but after the chemical was produced, the facility was closed by UNN officials who revoked TriOptimums permission to be on the Saturn moon fearing another Citadel incident.

You play a UNN solder sent with the scientists to provide security and to make sure nothing is removed from the facility or added to it upon arrival of the Von Braun. You are part of a team of 10 soldiers and 8 scientists tasked with firing up the facility and pumping the chemical into the Von Braun's air purifier system to quickly kill the mutation on board.


I'm going to work on this in my spare time, and that isn't very much... if anybody else with experience in ShockEd would like to jump on board, you're more than welcome to. I'll provide as much information as I can. I'm mostly looking for one more person to do the architecture design. I can fill in plot elements and design the areas that need to be specially designed for plot reasons, but it would be nice to have a second set of eyes on things to add detail here and there.

*shrugs* I'll probably make this my first and final released FM for System Shock 2 as I really don't have much time to dedicate to it, but would still like the opportunity to share this all with you :) since this community has helped me out tons.]]></description>

			<description>My apologies if this has been posted already, but system shock 2 is now available on Steam.  regular price $9.99 but on sale for awhile for $6.99.    anybody know anything about this?  I thought no one entity owned the entire license thus preventing the game from ever being re-released</description>
