Awesome adaption of the cutscene sword. Back then when I had a blacksmith make me a working replica, I stuck to the style in the briefing scene. Having these spikes towards the arm is far less practical than having them towards the opponent (and even those can get in your way).
Version two:
I felt the shiny veins of gold were too garish for the cutscene version of the sword, so I omitted them.

While working on Con's Sword, ı took a break and made a fire crystal v.2. It is better than my previous fire crystal but I think still not good enough. I hope you like it.

Actually I made a water crystal one or two years ago. I don't like its shape so I could make it again. I love its texture though, but I don't remember how did I do that texture. It was an experiment, I didn't know what I was doing exactly.

I know this isn't "art" but I didn't know where else to put it. I didn't want to create a new thread for it so I thought I'd plonk it here! Thought some of you may be amused by this..
I work for Lego and this is part of a new set that's just been released. This "Swamp Creature" (as it is called in the set) looks an awful lot like the Kurshok from Thief DS don't you think??... He comes complete with a dead fish and a frog... Nice!
