Meh, you're a youngster. You can't help it.
'course I can. I got an opinion and I AIN'T AFRAID TO USE IT.
What's with the post-new-wave tuneless 'Talking Heads found out what a distortion guitar is' angry geek-out link?
Pull the Curtains
Sometimes you gotta turn it off
Yeah, you gotta walk away
And then sometimes you gotta say:
"There ain't no other fuckin' way"
Word Grandaddy, word.
I love that song. Grandaddy were such a good band
Another one. I love the slack guitar in this
Pretty cute song from a Sydney band who just put out their first 7"

Marble Sky - Pulling out Grass Under a Blanket
Edmonton just got cold in the past week, and this music helps.
"He no longer listens to A-sides. He made me a tape of bootlegs and B-sides and every song on that tape said exactly the same thing: why don't our parents worry about us?"
Art Brut - "My Little Brother"
The new Electric Wizard is making me question all my reasoning for why I ever fucking stopped listening to metal.
Great one henke, I like the dialect.
And this just in: Guards - I see it coming
After seven long dark years
OF SILENCE
there is
A NEW
hhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggghhhhhh
CAKE SONG
oh god no
I'm currently listening to Black Sun Empire, which is some (dare I say it) Dark Drum and Bass.
Also just discovered Tettix, which is 8 bit/8 bit inspired stuff. This linked to track is...
Finally, I recently got linked to Baracka Flacka Flames - Head of The State !
Well, ... Since you asked nicely. Queen "Another One Bites The Dust" ( But the Library lady made me turn my volume down. sigh)
You know what the new MCR and Kanye albums have in common?
Hooks, hooks that dig into the sides of your head and work away, until they've burrowed past the skin and flesh and bone, right through your cerebral lobes and straight into your hippocampus, and you're stuck humming half a bunch of rhymes for the entire fucking day in some sort of feedback loop that's slowly building to critical mass.
Säkert - "Dansa, fastän"
A song about dancing away your pain, urging on the terrible band at the wedding to crank up the volume loud enough to cover up the sound of a breaking heart. It'd be just another piece of delicate indiepop bullshit if it didn't sound so honest.
Awww! Säkert!
Loved Vi kommer att dö samtidigt a few years ago (still an awesome shaker). But really, Annika Norlin is great in everything she does.
BTW, there is a real video for Dansa, Fastän

Yeah I did see the official video but I thought the one-shot-walk-down-the-street pushed it a bit too far into pretentious-indiepop-territory. I'd rather people get to listen to the song without being distracted by the sound their own eyeballs rolling in their sockets.
Walking down a street is pretentiously indie now? Well fuck, how I'm gonna get back home tonight?![]()
Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson diedNo chance of seeing Throbbing Gristle now.
Blasting them now <3
If you don't know the band, you will know this dude from his work with Hipgnosis creating iconic cover arts for various artist, Pink Floyd for example.
