FM on Vista

I remember once I saw a thread/post about it, but I can't find it.
How can I play FM on Vista? When needs to be done?
I have problems with my computer and got to use my laptop (which has Vista on it)... I really miss playing Thief
What I do remember from that post, is that it wasn't simple. I hope it's more simple now.

It isn't difficult, these days. You should check out the Legacy Gaming Forum. The FAQ there has the answers you need but if you still have trouble you can do a search using the keyword "Vista" or just ask a question in that forum.

Actually, as long as you stick to Thief 2 and associated FMs, all you'll likely need is Tafferpatcher.
