    Shock 1 (Mac) not working under either Classic or SheepShaver

    I have a copy of System Shock for the Mac (specifically, the version offered on systemshock.org) and I am trying to run it on my USB 2.0 eMac (1.25 GHz, 2 GB RAM, OS X 10.4.11). However, under Classic, the screen, after starting the game, does not update except on pressing Esc, and SheepShaver hangs after starting a new game. What do?
