--December 8, 2000 - Dazzling!

The new site design is complete. I'm forcing myself to learn HTML the hard (and non-sucky) way, and putting my meager 3D skills to work. Opinions welcome. The previous update below wasn't posted about, so you may not have read it - or seen the screenshots.

Well, I was going to post earlier, but life never quite works out that way. I had a death in the family, and the assistance in level design that I had was forced to donate time to more important things. So unless some brave soul wants to help out with the campaign, I guess I'm on my own. Since I can't crank out levels like G.O.D. can crank out Blair Witch games, that might not last long.

But since there's so much done already, I'm going to do my best to finish the first level and it get out - hopefully that'll convince me to keep working on it. By the way, much thanks goes to my other team members, who probably deserve someone with more self-esteem running the campaign!

I've realized that a lot of people might not know what Candlefire is, so I've collected the old story documents and collected them into one file to read. The About section also provides an introduction to the campaign.

Also, some mid-stream screenshots from the first mission. Architecturally, these areas are finished, except for correcting bugs. (now I get to work on the fun parts)

A street in Hightowne, a rich district of the City.

Any and all suggestions and comments are welcome.
