And can I rename the cheese to "moldy cheese" and have it as a separate object in the inventory from regular cheese? I have cheese and moldy cheese in my level and I want the player to be able to pick up both, eat both, but get damaged only by the moldy cheese. IP: Logged Kadaver Member posted June 23, 1999 03:48 PM I think the idea of deadly cheese would be entertaining in a "Last Crusade" kind of level (You must choose the fresh Wisconsin cheese. But choose wisely...), however I doubt that anyone would get much entertainment out of losing health points for doing something that has no bearing on the game. If you want to try anyway, take a look at Trimfect's Trickster scepter in GatB, it's probably similar to what you want. IP: Logged KGoodsell Member posted June 23, 1999 03:52 PM I would look at the healing fruit for an example. I know it has a RestoreStim, but I don't recall how it was activated. Anyway, copy what they did there and change the RestoreStim to something damaging. -Kevin IP: Logged All times are ET (US)next newest topic | next oldest topic Administrative Options: Close Topic | Archive/Move | Delete Topic Hop to: Select a ForumList of Forums:General--------------------Community Chat & RPGDeveloper's AnnouncementsFlight SeriesLooking GlassLGS Classics--------------------Terra NovaUnderworld 1 & 2System Shock--------------------System Shock 1 & 2Thief--------------------Thief 2 & Thief Gold WishlistThief Editors' GuildThief Contact Us | TTLG Forums Return to your place of origin TTLG / Sshock2.com / Thief-Darkproject.com / GameForum Copyright Gibbed, 1999.
