            The stupid grid only allows to make my room brushes at certain 
            areas, i want to make stairs but it makes the box go to the line and 
            my stairs are really steep, how do i make the grid more exact or get 
            rid of it all together? very annoying

            The "Grid Size" field at the top left corner of the buttons does be 
            what you be looking for, and you can toggle the "Use" button to 
            switch "snap to grid" on and off.

            Also, you don't have to go by the grid if you punch the location in 
            manual. I keep the grid at 2-feet and do all my positioning like 
            that. It's much easier to do.
            BTW, I posted earlier that Theif didn't require me to do any trig. I 
            spoke too soon. Doing my own set of stairs I needed to use some to 
            work out the scale of triange that would sculpt out an area for a 
            stair case below it.
