So...you want to resurrect old posts...sigh. Here's how I did it. It's not easy. Don't say I didn't warn you. Edit the post in notepad (if you use another editor, you're on your own). You'll see a barely readable jumble with lots of little black boxes (they are linefeeds I think). You need to remove every one of them, but not right now. Search down for the string +ACI-member+ACI-. Search up for the string +ACIAPA-tr+ACI-. Position the cursor just before the +ACIAPA-tr+ACI-. Delete everything before it (by typing ctrl-shift-home then delete). Go to the end of the post (ctrl-end). Search up for +ACI-member+ACI-. Search down for +ACIAPA-/tr+AD4AIg-. Position the cursor just after +ACIAPA-/tr+AD4AIg-. Delete everything after it (ctrl-shift-end, delete). Go back to the top of the post (ctrl-home). Select and copy one of the black boxes then go back to the top of the post again. Bring up the +ACI-Find...+ACI- dialog and paste the black box character into the +ACI-Find what:+ACI- box. Search down for one once and then press cancel. Press delete to get rid of the black box. Press F3 to go to the next one. Press delete, etc. Continue until there are no more black boxes. Note, on NT you can just use the replace feature. Create a new note in the chat forum. Set the topic to be the old topic. Cut and paste the following HTML into the message box: +ADw-i+AD4-Once, I watched thee laid to rest. Now come back at my request+ACEAPA-/i+AD4APA-/td+AD4APA-/tr+AD4APA-tr bgcolor+AD0AIgAj-EEEEEE+ACIAPgA8-td+AD4APA-/td+AD4APA-td+AD4-The ground rumbles. The earth shakes+ACE- Silence. Then the lost voices begin to arise and fill the void...+ADw-/td+AD4APA-/tr+AD4APAAqACoAKgA+ADw-tr+AD4APA-td+AD4APA-/td+AD4APA-td+AD4- Change the text of it to what ever you want. Select and copy the entire modified post. Select the +ACIAPAAqACoAKgA+ACI- in the message box and paste the contents of the old post (replacing the +ACIAPAAqACoAKgA+ACI-). Do not insert any blank lines or the shading will be screwed up.
