You at O/H's or at home? 'Cos I sent you more mail
And I just got kicked off-line so I apollogise for the

Maybe by flashing them?
The easiest way would be: Let them follow you, and run back into
the forum with them in your back.

At home now. The best time for conspiracies would be Monday-Friday,
9:00-13:00 a.m. MEZ. (err, 3:00-7:00 a.m. in this forum). That
wouldn't explode my telephon bill.

It would? Can't do wed, thur, fri. Working. But cheapest time for
phone use here is weekends.
And then we must put one elemental in every shadow we can find
and flush out all the Thief's, making them pledge themselves to us
in exchange for their shadows. .gif)

My bosses would probably not be very happy to find myself in the
gameforum every morning, too. Monday and Tuesday are still possible.
Hehe.
It would be even more fun, if we laid a sleeping Zombie into
every shadow. They are more difficult to see in the dark - the spies
would walk over the Zombies and become Zombies themself.
More to control for us.

I see. But what do we do about the hammers? I don't think they
would make good zombies.
|
Lytha Member |
posted March 20, 1999 06:55 AM
Oh, indeed. I loved the Hammer-Zombies in Bonehoard, even if I was
very astonished that they did not cast any magic.
It is tricky to lure them into Zombies, because the chances are
bad that the Zombie will survive.
I think it is easier, when we have the Eye in our hands... I am
before LostCity now, but I can have it once again in my hands
tomorrow, when I finished RTC again - and this time I could decide
against giving it to Constantine.
What about Frogs?
|
Jyre Member |
posted March 20, 1999 06:58 AM
Frogs... We use them to keep our few humans in line. If someone
disobeys we send round a frog to blow off their toes
|
Lytha Member |
posted March 20, 1999 07:05 AM
Okay, this sounds perfect.
We should now distribute the tasks among us.
I could grab the Eye and get some Zombies. You could continue
the brainwashing part.
Any more tasks to distribute?

Kyloe is our spy. And someone needs to breed the frogs. Ghost
perhaps I don't
think he'll be wanting to much human company right now hehe

You know, I thought the Frogs were male Bugbeasts. The Bugbeasts look
very female, somehow, and insects have often strange differences in
the height of females and males.
But Ghost will probably prefer the company of Frogs now.

Bugbeasts and frogs... That is scary vision! hehe. But we have
forgotten the monkeys..
|
Lytha Member |

The monkeys? Do we need them? ...
They insulted me, because they wanted to see my Dötten, you know.
And they called me a "mouse". They deserve the "Apes in
Space"-Project: To boldly go where no Ape has been before. To
encounter new planets, and galaxies...
Nah, Frogs and Bugbeasts are better. Together with Zombies and
Haunts, and Fireelementals.

save for that which leads to the dining room, the kitchen is safe
from assault. Over the fireplace a single glazed duck spits juice
into the flame. As a final measure a barrel has been placed in front

passes over Catalyst's face, he looks up. "The trap door! Of
course!.." Just then moaning erupts from the kitchen sink. Hurried,
Catalyst trys to pin a broadhead on the frog, but it moves too fast.
After several attempts he realizes the frog can't get up on the
table! Smugly he waits.... Soon several zombies wander in from
the kitchen. "Hello, I've been waiting for you...." Quickly Catalyst
drops a flashbomb. The frog, now immobile, explodes as an arrow hits
it. Two flashbombs later there is a stack of zombie parts blocking
the trap door and Catalyst is found in the kitchen trying to figure
out how the zombies got in.'

Meanwhile Jyre, having been failed by Ghost (you'll pay), sneaks up
to the trapddor, which is now clear of zombie parts as Catalyst used
flash bombs instead of holy water, readies a gas arrow and lets fly.
It catches Catalyst between the shoulder blades and the gas clouds
upwards around his face. Jyre smiles as Catalyst drops like a stone.
She lowers herself into the room on a rope, removes everything from
the dining room including Catalyst's lockpicks and keys, makes sure
all the door, including the one to the kitchen, are locked and
shimmeys back up. Retreiving the rope, she shuts the trapdoor and
slides a locking bar across it then instructs two of her more
trusted haunts to stand guard whilst she finds Lytha to discus
Catalysts fate.

And 100.000 $ is pretty much. Constantine wouldnt dare to

I have an idea, Jyre. I will give the Eye to Constantine,

'Sometime during the night Catalyst wakes up. The sweet aroma of KO
gas still lingers in the room. Slowly he regains his senses. He
hears a zombie howl and frantically reaches for his holy water only
to find his equiptment gone! A quick glance around the room tells
him anything of value has been stolen.
Walking groggily towards the kitchen Catalyst trips on a zombie
head. Falling to the ground he is griped by the putrid stench of
rotting flesh. Getting up Catalyst quips to himself, "Hmm, they
didn't take the zombie parts, perhaps they didn't see them." He
chuckles to himself in spite of the situation and stumbles into the
kitchen door only to find it locked. A quarter of an hour and a
broken table leg later the kitchen door is open.
Seeing the hearth still aflame Catalyst is delighted. He cups his
hands and begins to douse the fire with water from the sink. As he
crawls up the secret passage in the chimmney Catalyst can't help but
feel angry. "I only wished to remain apart from the evil that is
Lytha and HER STOOGE, Jyre. How dare they insult a thief by robbing
him. If they want a war they shall HAVE one!" he declares. Up on the
roof Catalyst is surprised to still see activity outside. Down below
Ghost is groveling at the feet of Jyre. Wandering about are many
other traitors who have chosen the easy path. "Now HOW am I going to
get past them?" At that he sees redEye dash into the house
completely nude! He is quickly followed by the bumbling hoards of
evil, the lawn outside is now clear. "Dear redEye, thou art truly my
friend, else that or a crazy fool!" Shaking his head Catalyst hops
down from the roof and steals away into the night.

Seeing the advancing army, Jyre goes to her humble servant
Stonewall and asks him to bar the hammers way. He is only too
pleased to position himself before the mansion, so tall he cannot be
climbed, so wide he cannot be circled and so deep he cannot be
breached. His foundations are set so deep in the earth that no
tunnel can pass under them. The mansion is safe whilst the next
stage is planned.

common servant? Join us in restoring the order, freedom, and peace
that this forum once maintained! And may the Master Builder strike
down upon this evil with a mighty hammer blow!"
On the other side of the forum the hammerites tighten their ranks
but hold position. Every once and a while the tension is broken by a
flaming hammer tearing into a zombie that would try to cross the

fafhrd cleverly sneaks up behind the well ordered mob of Hammerites,
slitting their throats with his dagger Heartseeker. Then letting out
a bestial roar as the bloodlust consumes him he draws sword Graywand

a pool of their steaming blood surrounded by the remaining zealots
looking at them through half lidded eyes, as blood gushed from
several several well placed cuts and more than a few compound

I was about to tell ya all to get a life but just yesterday evening
i went out to the video club for a Haagen Dazszshs (since i dont
have a vcr) and on the way back i went through a different route
round the back of my house. There is this amazing area there full of
student houses (old english style houses) and this dark alley that
goes along the back yards.. there is a river there as well and bare
trees...so i went into the alley completely drowned in darkness and
i could hear people talking behind closed doors..the wind was
howling and shit and it was so thief-like I SWEAR i almost cried..i
dunno why ! that was such an overwhelming feeling ..i really cant
explain... so i just walked there for a couple of minutes listening
and laughing to my self wishing i had a sword and some bloody
taffers to hack to death...i also crept up to a window and peaked
inside...(uh...isnt that kind of illegal?) so ..well i think that
says a lot. and then i went home i ate my ice
cream... . . .and of course i played thief...
