    Interface Trouble

I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I've encountered during gameplay.

Everytime I press tab to bring up the inventory screen, I'm unable to left or right click on any of the items to use them (and for some reason weapons will keep firing in this mode when I try, too).

I'm not sure if this is simply an XP glitch or a graphics error. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you changed the key bindings? This thing happened to me when I did that. If so, chose the default settings again, and tell us if it's been fixed

Yeah, I tried messing with the control config, but nothing worked. I tried changing attack from mouse 1, but even when you do that the left click still acts as the shooting button.

    * And going back to default hasn't helped, unfortunately. =\

Go to your Binds-dir in Sshock2-dir.
In the bnd-file you will use during gameplay:

    FIND:
    bind mouse1 +fire_weapon
    bind mouse2 frob_object

    REPLACE:
    bind mouse1 +drag_and_drop_mode
    bind mouse2 frob_object_inv

    Inventory interface trouble

I played SS2 ages ago on my XP system, never a problem.

Recently installed it on Vista, no problems during installation, but I have this problem whereby the mouse won't drag/drop things in the Inventory, it's still in shoot mode - i.e. I try to drag/drop the wrench from the arm back into the inventory and in the main window as soon as I click it swings the wrnech as per a normal attack.

The solution of altering the BND file settings hasn't worked. Any other ideas?

It might be worthwhile to download the SS2MM and use its automated fix to try and solve the problem, just in case you accidentally did something wrong. Details here.
