And I'm not tagging it because that would be a huge block of blue.
There's the usual into about Rapture, Adam, plasmids etc.
It starts with a bit about Ken thinking that a lot of games seem artificial. "Why can't I just run that way and get out of here? Because that car is in the way? The sad truth is games are a bit of a fib. I want to make games that minimise the fib."
The game is described as freeform with the same freedom to go back to areas of the game already covered, ala System Shock 2. This probably involves respawning AI, something a lot of gamers typically hate, although I like it if it's done properly. Shock 2 did it properly.
There are seven areas, each is distinct. One is called Hephaetus, which is apparently the Greek god of blacksmiths, technology and fire.
Plasmids are split into two broad types, ones that are always active (I would guess strength, stamina kind of things, although it doesn't say) and 'active' ones - weapon-like powers that have to be activated manually.
There's a brief description of some plasmids, we've heard about them or they've been in the video and a couple of new ones including a 'freezing' one enabling the player to freeze and enemy and make ice cubes from them.
There's actually two or three more paragraphs on the various plasmids.
Fire, as we've been promised, spreads dynamically, so flammable items will catch fire if exposed to flame. Apparently there are also the occasional wooden walls. Make of that what you will
The description of the AI makes them sound like they walk round the area similar to the AI in Thief, so they will not always been in the same place on each pass.
AI can heal themselves.
There's a lot of licensed period music.
From memory there appear to be about ten new screenshots including an AI which is walking down a misty corridor and is disappearing into the mist!
One of the screenshots has an AI that looks like Pete Doherty after he's been on the heroin.
