I don't know if this has been mentioned, but have you right clicked on the ddfixgui.exe and set the compatibility to winXp Sp2..?

Trying to install DDFix... I seem to be having trouble actually finding it for download. The only link to it I can seem to find it that http://timeslip.chorrol.com/ one... but whenever I try to get to it, it just times out. Anywhere else I can get it? (Trying to get it to run on Thief 2)
All I can find elsewhere are the exe files, which end up returning the "Install directx 7" messages.

(Resolution is set to 1280x1024, if you want to use anything else you'll need to adjust that yourself.)

Hi,

I have just purchased Nvidia chipset asus motherboard (M2N68-AM), AMD Athlon x2 6000+ 3Ghz Processor and 2 GB Ram.

I used the patch for thief 2 and got the game working fine, BUT I cannot see the text below the tool which we use. Like compass, lock pick, sword, water arrow.

Please share your expert comments...

Sounds like you are using the older ddfix 1.1.1.

Try hitting scroll lock on your keyboard when in-game. See if that works.

The version I used is v1.3.11b.
No Luck with scroll lock..

where to find 1.1.1 version ?

If I change resolution from (in game) option > video > resolution > 640X480x16,
I can see the text but not graphics and game crashes.. :-(

I am not using widescreen, (17' LG LCD Normal)

OS Config : WinXP sp3

My guess is this is because you just joined TTLG the other day.

Word of advice: WHen posting an email address, post it in a different format so the spam bots don't catch your email.

for example: blah AT whatever dot com instead of blah@whatever.com
