In other words it's a pretty tired joke then. Not that I would compare the two, but that's another story.

As long as we have entire generations of people perpetually discovering sex, you'll always have people who think it's funny.

Honestly, I think sex jokes are the cornerstone of all civilization. That, and beer.

Can I just say again how great Arms is. Iíve been playing it all week on harder difficulties, tried a few of the online matches, and Iím really finding that I want to play it more and more purely to get better at it because the core mechanics are so satisfying (Uh, like Dark Souls? yes) I admit it could probably use a more fulsome package, but I take back what I said before; the game as is is totally worth buying for anyone who likes fun games.

OKAY, FINE THEN! I'll buy it. Sooner or later, anyway.

Me? I've been playing the hell out of Stardew Valley. Dunno what it is about games where all you do is build things and talk to people, but I like them.

I bought my 4th Switch game, Picross S. That's right, NONOGRAMS, SON! It's a logic-puzzle thing where you use numbers-clues to fill in a pixel-grid to make a pretty picture. It's soothing ambient gaming, kinda like taipei or sudoku. Not too challenging, but it activates a pleasant "well done"-buzz somewhere in your brain on each completed puzzle. It's nice.

I've always wondered what the Picross games were about. They always looked like super souped up Minesweeper to me.

Try out the Pic-a-Pix demo! That's how I got into it. Pic-a-Pix uses a slightly more complex (tho perhaps slightly easier) system where you add pixels of different colors, unlike Picross where all the pixels are black.

A lot of games on sale at the moment. I picked up Golf Story at -20%. Gonna finish Mario+Rabbids before getting to GS tho.

Retro City Rampage DX looks fun, and is 33% off, think I'll pick that up.

I'm currently neck deep into Dragon Quest Builders. Everyone should consider at least trying out the demo.

If there's one thing videogames have taught me, it's not to let sick people lick you.

Has anyone played Doom on Switch yet? I bought the PC version on sale a while ago, but I haven't touched the PC in months, I guess because my only monitor is currently set up in the living room as a TV for the Switch. I might even buy Doom again just for the convenience (plus apparently it has gyro aiming now, which I thought worked great in Zelda).

p.s. ARMS is still wonderful and everyone should buy it. I finally tried the online modes, and while the ranked matches are a little intimidating for me, the unranked party mode is possibly the best way to play the game. Basically it just takes a lobby full of people and scrambles them up in all the different game modes – some competitive, some cooperative – and scales your health to match your win streak, so it keeps things balanced and is rarely frustrating.

I'm trying really hard not to rebuy things on Switch that I already own on other platforms. I'd love to have indies like Hyperlight and Owlboy and Night in the Woods and Stardew and some others as well. I'll probably fail when it comes to Hollow Knight. Another debate - Skyrim. I think it would be a lot of fun to own it on the Switch, and there's decent parts of the game that I haven't experienced yet, so it's not like it's all a rehash.

ARMS is a possibility, but I'd prefer to pick it up used and not pay the full 60.

I'm tempted to buy Doom, but considering I've already played it to hell and back (olol) on the PC, I have no interest picking it up at full price just to have a copy on the go. It'll be something I grab when it's at least 50% off its current full price.

Skyrim is another story, though. I haven't beat the game on the PC. Might only have 30-45 hours clocked in altogether. I might consider grabbing it for the Switch at some point here in the near future.

Yeah, and since when do games cost $80?? I think Super Nintendo games back in the day maybe used to go for that, but last gen it was always $50-$60 (Canadian). I have a hard time paying $80 for all my new games, especially when PC is so much cheaper. I've actually tried to stop buying indie games on PC, though, in the hope that they'll come out on Switch since I'm much more likely to play them there. And Skyrim's tempting, but in my experience games I've put hundreds of hours in tend not to hold my interest in second playthroughs. I should probably *not* buy Dark Souls then, but...
