Can I go off topic? and say that

downwinder is the luckiest amongst us all. He doesn't seem to have aged one bit since 2008.

Oh, to be in my 30's again...

also i seen on youtube Christine released a system shock mission based on a thief fan mission i hope she will be doing a mission for this contest as she has the best sweets in all fan missions, also a big fan of her cigarettes in missions, and her snow is second to none

so many other authors i hope make one also, and would even be cool if some are short for time to team up with someone else to make one

and don't forget to add dewdrop in missions :P

only thing i wish was it was only for t1/gold,2 engine, but t3 levels could be used on t2 newdark as i really enjoyed the missions so far brethren mission was great t2 convertion

also yandros what is dce again i hope a t1/gold,2 mission/s as you make amazing missions too

No, intruder started that long before the contest was decided. I think he sat on it for a year or two before finishing it recently.

By the way, as I told Brethren some time ago, I'm out of the contest, but will release the donated abandoned mission I was given for it some day, either as it was planned by the original author or integrated into another project.

There won't be any new person, I'll be the one finishing it. There will also not be any dewdrop in it as it wouldn't make sense based on the kind of mission it is. And no barking dogs either.

Just in case some of you guys would be lacking inspiration, maybe a visit of this site could give you ideas: http://www.forbidden-places.net/explo1.php (also, other people who don't make missions but like abandoned buildings and such may still enjoy it :] )

    Can't wait to see which missions you'll come up with :}

Has this been linked to before here? I ask because it's very Thiefy. The New Jersey State Hospital photo gallery gave me the chills...I want to explore it!

It's the thrill of exploring abandoned places by yourself that Thief missions convey so effectively.

Wooo... Love the contest idea Brethren. You have certainly not betrayed us .

It's great that the quantity of FMs is still going steady... and the quality of FMs from those screens is amazing. Just remember novices, the real winners of the contest are the FM players. If the mission passes beta muster, it is a good and fun mission for the community.

Do these screenshots on this page show all the same mission? (Because texture and settings are seeming similar...)
Maybe another huge mission is on the way...

I think the first, third and fourth set are from the same mission.

We're down to the last month and I can't wait to play them all!

Brethren do you know how many contestants there are?

I only know of two missions in the works, but my experience with contests is that very few of the contestants ever let me know ahead of time if they are working on something. We'll see soon enough.
