    Hint for 1st book please.

I have been everywhere, or so I think, and cannot locate the 1st book.
    spoiler:
Found 2nd book right after given the objective to find it,
but cannot find 1st book. I thought
    spoiler:
I would find it after I got the sword and started whacking away at everything on the walls,
but no book. Just a little hint would go a long way. Thanks.

    spoiler:
    both books in the library
, but now I'm missing one. I could swear both were checked off at one point, but not anymore.

I managed to teleport myself into a dead end.

I can't figure out how to
    spoiler:
    get into the armory
    .

    Haven't found the sword.

    spoiler:
Anyone know what the strange scribbles on the wall of the little girl's room mean?
    Or is that just decoration?

I just encountered a frame rate problem when I was in the

prison cells. I had to stop playing. Anybody else have this problem?

    Four Weapons

Excellent mission - thanks. I'm really enjoying it.

Wondered if anybody could spoil me as I'm stuck
    spoiler:
can somebody give me a complete spoiler on switches needed to open the teleporter? I've found all four switches in the room where the small child of Karras patrols, and the switch through the back of the last cell, and the thing you turn in the electricity room - but can't get any further. Is there a particular sequence you have to switch the switches?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Kimberly, I believe there are
    spoiler:
    5 switches
in the one room. Look just a little harder and you will find it.
    spoiler:
    No particular order is needed.

I seem to get stuck at the AVI movie and have to ctrl-Alt-Del to get out of Thief 2. I then just deleted the avi from the zip and the level runs fine. I might be the only having the prob with this, but just in case someone else does also...

Oh, I also tried to run the avi from the zip and it opened Media Player, but would not run it there either...

Anyway - thx for the level & into it now I go...

Very nice indeed Yohny. Very traditional mansion type adventure, interesting puzzles, a lot of fun.

Look forward to the next episode.

An ever continuing issue, every once and awhile the same thing happens to me, threads abound about cutscene's not playing. Usuallyl I just do what you did and watch through media player, since I got in the habit anyways of browsing the contents of archives before extracting. Anyways, download VLC player instead to view AVi's, it uses its own internal codec's to render audio and video, and no codec downloads are necessary. Otherwise, just install indeo codec located on TMA CD2 I believe.

Taffy mug, info about the father is...
    spoiler:
in the library on a table. One of the books... or was it a scroll?

Silly quibbles - The level seemed to lack a lot of the usual ambient sounds. Outside for instance. Usually there's some sort of outside music. Quite a few times something that should have made a sound effect made no sound effect. All I can think of at the moment is one of the five buttons, but there was more. I also found myself not moving up and down stairs smoothly. Had to jump. New objects in tight spaces took up a lot more room than they appeared to. Sneaking through the window into that locked room with the guard was difficult even with a box. The guard could hear the box no matter how lightly I dropped it. I think there might have been a metallic noise from walking through the very thick window sill. Even with the torch doused I'd walk into light getting to the guard who was too far to reach. Very bright places where the light crystal tells me I'm in total darkness. For example right where you start before you jump through the window. It's very bright and yet you're in total darkness. Then in the cooler area this happens again. The frozen cook in the cooler - I don't think that's ever explained.

One of the best from Yohny so far - I had issues with some of the earlier levels of this series, but here he is really getting into his element! I can't wait to see where that Teleporter took us in the next installment!

Thanks. Can't believe how blind I am.
In fact I just rushed after two books and forgot I haven't read other book on the table.

Very good criticism you have there, po! I agree with every bit.
But this is all minor things and does not ruin this excellent mission

Thanks you for comments and playing my mission. I done it for you, for players. I know about lighting problem, but this is not my mystake, but Dromed is not able to relight some places very good... And I am beginner with adding new objects from internet, so I done my best.

But I think, that is a good mission, which can give you a hour of good fun. So thanks you for playing and visit my homepage for walktrough, which I will make as soon as possible.

And enjoy my next mission "Old Tribe", which I will release in January....

Check behind one of the light fixtures (its frobbable). The one closest to the door to the room where the woman was sleeping
