If you'd told me a month ago we'd see TWO T1 missions released within a week of each other, I'd have laughed! Can't wait to start playing... just got to finish the mission I'm currently working on...

It seems that The Dark Project is returning...
Whatever... the second mission of the project will be for thief 2. And The haunted church will be transformed into Thief 2 mission later ;-)

This is a short but tough one. Spent most of the time running around, trying to escape the haunts.
Found only 500 loot, missing 100. 1 or 2 places for hiding would have been good ...

    Thanks again, Bulgarian_Taffer.

Yes, if you are playing the mission on Hard or Expert it will be difficult. AIs are patrolling everywhere...

I'll paste you spoilers about where the loot is:

Two tiaras in the chapel, look at the statues

    spoiler:
One golden candlestick next to the font

    spoiler:
One golden candlestick in the corridor near the front gate

    spoiler:
One golden candlestick in the High priest room ( the second floor )

    spoiler:
A ring near the dead body in the Lost city

There´s a note in the toilet. Search the stairs...

For some reason I didn't notice the ladder on the outside, so I bashed the front door in with my sword. And eventually used the crates in the telescope room to get on the roof, where I noticed the way I was suposed to start the mission.

You might want to put deathstage12 on doors you don't want people to bash in .

I knew about bashing with the sword but I didn't fix it.

Whatever... No more undead missions in my campaign, sorry ;-) there will be haunted city areas, however...

Act 1 of Heaven in the garden of stones has 5 missions and they are:

    1. The haunted church
    2. Betrayal
    3. Back to Cragscleft
    4. The Mechanist factory
    5. The shimpent

Currently, I'm working on betrayal. I don't know when it will be ready, but it may take months or even a year...

The series sounds great B-T. I've always liked it when authors do FMs as a series.

Of course, I like it when authors do individual FMs too.

Heck, I just like FMs, but the series ones are always an extra treat.

Is there some way to sneak past the ghost in the chapel area into the secret room without alerting him? I couldn't figure one out.

Is there any way to douse the chandelier?

Without alerting him? Let me think. Never tried to do this. But you could always kill him with the sword.
Actually, Back to Cragscleft should be a total conversion of the prison, highly changed, retextured and converted for Thief 2. But nothing more I say, you should wait till the mission is ready.

    Lost City?

I've bumped off everyone (or every ex-one) but I can't find an entrance to the Lost City, where I guess the missing 100 loot will be.

Could I please have a hint?

Well, the lever behind the altar opens a secret passage. There is a door that opens the lost city. You must find the key, check the basement.

I have looked for the basement key very carefully on and around two sets of stairs. That includes blind frobbing all around in case it is buried. I saw the note. At some point I used two fire arrows near one stairway, so it could have been moved or driven into a surfacte, as someone said. Please tell me exactly what stairway it is in and where it is so I can maybe find without restarting.

    spoiler:
It's the left stairway, right near the basement door.

    Thanks, Bulgarian_Taffer

Well, the key simply disappeared. I blind frobbed all around that place for another 15 minutes, all the way up and down the hall, on the floor, on the stairs, and in the walls, and even into the main church. Nothing. Then I restarted. After the restart, it was there in plain sight. I don't remember using an explosive weapon anywhere near that place. Anyway, something made it go away. It probably went so deep into some surface that blind frobbing did not help.

So, I think it is a small bug.

On second play I went straight for the basement to prevent that from happening again.

EDIT: finished it. I needed help with the loot. (the ring) Thanks for the mission and the help. I enjoyed it.
