Thief FMs in Computer Games magazine!

We got a blurb in the latest issue of Computer Games (US edition anyway):

Alright Sluggs, you can't retire now! All that bitching about nobody noticing your missions, and now you get a personal callout in a mag with a circulation of 250,000!
Grats to the T2X team, Timon and Bho too!
Death's Cold Embrace: A Thief 2 campaign due in 2010

    Whoa...you dudes are famous now!

    Congrats!

Something to consider though sluggs, if you do retire your missions will increase substantially in value. Oh so precious they will be.

What am I saying....now you must continue...your groupies are just beginning to congregate!

It certainly makes one want to continue, that's for sure. Damn it, why did they have to go and do that?

Believe it or not, this isn't the first time that my work has been mentioned in a games magazine. Some of my old Amiga games got reviewed in a couple of Amiga magazines. It doesn't make you famous, but it sure does make everything worthwhile.

    Excellent!

    Yandros:

Nice find, this is really excellent. A great tribute to a lot of hard work over the years by authors, many of you who help each other out and those who post Thief stuff on their web sites. It is amazing that the Thief community is still so active. I played through a T2 mission recenlty and just loved it. The game is as fun today as the first time I played Bafford. I have to go find the magazine just so I can see it.

ps: I liked your edits. Maybe you have a career in the media!
