    not working right

I just loaded this one up, and it is not working right at all. First, it's all slow and laggy. Second, the guards are immaterial and don't notice me (I can walk right through them). Third, switches don't light up. I don't know what's up with this but it's unplayable for me, maybe others are having more success.

Obviously the guards are supposed to be ghosts from the past. The slow-mo
is for effect. Go deeper into the mission and mess with some haunts ant you will see what I mean. If what I said is the way the mission is supposed to be then its working fine.

I ,ve just started to play this FM and it works fine. Frame rate is OK, only a little slow in a large areas but very little - doesn't affect playing. The guards are ghosts (as you see) and I like their slow motion style. I think the author wanted to make them like that - not to see the Player. (Or maybe I am wrong?) But that has a sense to me according to .rtf file and the book I found in supervisor office.

    BTW,
    spoiler:
I found a key labeled as "Two" and I don't know where can I use it?

    Lightningline was faster than me!
    spoiler:
Found the torch lever, now I know where to use the key "Two".

I did a little testing and patching up of this mission, and you're correct - the slow-motion ghosts are the past inhabitants of the prison and are harmless. The levers are unfrobbable because you're not supposed to manipulate any of those gates. The haunts are the ones to watch for, and the four generals and Vadrigar are pretty tough, so have fun!

I have to go on record here and say I urged Pedro to get more testing on this mission before releasing it, so I hope he did. The last I heard from him he wasn't planning to.

I'm a little confused about something. If the ghost are past inhabitants, why are they running away from me.

John, are they running away from you through the whole mission? I had the same situation but only in execution area.
    spoiler:
I accidently killed some of the ghosts with mine. I think they supposed to be invulnerable?

ghosts from the past, running ghosts...so what?

ive configured some ghosts to flee, so that players could see them running away in slow camera, and i think its a nice show, it fits with the music, i dont remember of letting a ghost physical, if i did, its because i forgot, i putted a lot of ghost and ofcourse in many of them ive forgot to change a few things, as for the ghosts in the executionchamber, ive programed three of them to flee, ghosts from the past? so what? does that forbidd them to see you and run away from you? are they not alow to live in the present just because they are in slow motion? or just because they are not physical? either you like or not its my style, ive done it to fit the ambient music...hope youre enjoying the mission, im working already in a mission wich i think it will take me months

    like i was saying...

the ghosts actions are not a representation of the past, no living human could flutate in the air, so theyre actions are in the present moment youre living in the game.

Ive been playing in these 2 last days JIS elevator t2, i must say i loved to play his mission, its like being in a dream, Jis is a great artist, ive managed to reach the 8 mission thanks to lightningline and others tips, but couldnt go further, the puzzles were getting to unfair, so i got stuck in a room with a mech servant a lamp post, a statue that shoots fire balls , and so i gave it up. course i could manipulate that through dromed, bahhh but it would loose its funny.

    spoiler:
    shinings on their head?

I personally called them "Superhaunts" till I realised who this guys are.

But how cann I kill them? I only managed to kill the
    spoiler:
haunt in the basement with flash bombs.
But the others seem to be impossible to hurt... even with fire arrows!

Sorry everybody, and especially the author, for jumping the gun on this one. Mea Culpa.

No I like the idea. I just didn't know if there was a reason for a few to see me and flee. A ghost has nothing to fear anyway.

    thanks john

well perhaps those ghosts flee because they know who is Garret, you never know if their homes were robbed by Garret , by the way are you john D. or john Denison?

    I killed
    spoiler:
    one ghost
    , but not by accident.
    spoiler:
Mostly in the execution area, but one floating above hit the floor and ran away. I see that it was supposed to be like this.

    I did find
    spoiler:
a torch lever in the bad criminals area
, but never found out what it did.

I'm very impressed with this mission. The author has made a great leap from his first mission.

The only problems I'm have are:

The limb models are disimilar (e.g. the sword and blackjack arms are normal, but the bow and body-carrying arms are skeletal).

Oh, and shameless as I am, I have a skin that would be a fitting replacement for the default haunt skin in this mission.

Bones as well as all of the regular necromantic soldiers can be destroyed with your sword.
Uriel must be attacked with holy arrows, Gaunt with fire arrows, and Cadavre with flash bombs.
