    Thief 2 Fan Mission - A Pirate's Downfall - 2006-10-02

Well I have submitted my latest effort to thiefmissions.com so keep your eyes out for it over the next day or so, whenever Jason puts it up. But don't pester him, he's a busy man!

Anyway, I missed the time of release on my last 2 missions so someone else ended up creating a thread about them, so this time I wanted to get there first!

    Enjoy! (soon)

Congrats, I look forward to playing it as soon as I'm done testing two other missions! I honestly think some people have alarms on their PC that go off whenever Thiefmissions is updated.

Nice news! The title sounds very interesting...

I also hope there will be more FMs in the next two weeks, because I have holidays.

Thanks for the mission taffer . I have either the " reload every " extension running in Firefox or Opera set to reload Thiefmissions , all that is left is automating the download .

sadly the only decently fast internet access I have is at work, so by the time I got on my lunch break in approx 14 hours to upload it anywhere else, it'll be up at thiefmissions anyway! Patience, young padawan!

    Page Not Found?

    Hi

I've been trying to download A Pirate's Downfall from Thief Cheap Missions for several days now. All I get is a 'Page Not Found' error. I haven't had any problems downloading other missions from this site, with one exception: Vadrigar's Prison, which results in the same error.

Is there an alternate site to get it from?

@Brother Renault; I never saw that during beta testing. Are you sure that some custom stuff isn't left over from Left For Dead? I'd uninstall the mission, axe the mesh folder if it still exists, then reinstall it.

Strange, you're solution worked of course, but I haven't played that FM in years! And I just recently reinstalled T2, so I'm not sure where that stuff came from. Anyway, fixed and working now.

Odd that you've been trying for several days but the mission was just released a few hours ago...

    -THANKS-

This is an excuse to stop playing Arx for a bit. I was getting nowhere in that game, thanks to those super-fast, armor-cladded chaps! I ended up going postal in the City!

You've done a great job on the caves. Those must have took some carving out!

That sky though, it's ghasty! Hey, at least i can see the stars though! \o/

I like the new body carrying pic. I might do one of those myself!

Oh yeah, and some of those readables...

    -LOL!-

If you played Vadrigar's Prison before this oen, it also used the skellie arms.

In the gardners attic is a hidden panel
How do I open it? I looked in the general area to no avail.

    spoiler:
Read the gardener's diary in his bedroom. It has a hint.

Or for the outright solution :

    spoiler:
There's a small switch in the bottom left of the far wall of the attic from the stairs.

Cheers for that Nicked. I had an inkling that it was there somewhere. It really blends in well dont it?

Now what to do with those 4 golden bones? I take it you cant do diddly unless you play on freakish difficulty?
