Bleh, I think Slip's screens have way more style and class than that. But then again, I hate the Blizzard art direction.

Cool, though I agree with Nightfall. To me it seems as though the artists at Blizzard weren't all that deep on making the game look all that mystical looking, and in the end it's a cross between the D&D movie and an episode of ReBoot.

I was recently poking around Ashen Age 1 in Dromed, just to go on a "walking tour" without those pesky guards to bother me. Amazing stuff, not to mention the best FM lighting ever. Going through it with Light_Bright switched on really emphasizes how important it is. Do those wedge-combo arches incur less processing overhead? Or is processing sacrificed to get a better result?

It's not really to do with processing. DromEd only allows a max of 10-sided cylinders, which tend to look quite clunky to a modern audience. While the wedge arches would incur more processing, it's pretty negligible. It's just for aesthetics.

Well jeeze, Looking glass should have had more hindsight to realize all of the loyal Thief fans were getting tired of trying to have their systems cater to it.

Oh wells, I'm rather glad to know that Slippy will be unleashing something... Soon?

Angelfire doesn't let you do that, btw (embedding linked images). All I see is "Image hosted by Angelfire". If I paste the image URL into a tab, I can see it, though.

Who uses angelfire since 1998 or so?

Seriously, use Photobucket. Best free image host out there and you can post full sized images without pop ups, hotlink blocking or other nonsense.

Why you getting so defensive about an image?

Erm, I'm not being personal about it... whatsoever...

Puh-leaze, you (Nothing personal) seem to have a problem with the phrase "Drop it, please. Its a passing situation I'm leaving behind out of boredom."

Now if you don't mind, I'm gonna take myself to the restroom and dunk my head in the tub.

Sure - here's a few things that are in progress

Stop lights for the various ships flying around. I'm working on having various streams of space traffic flying around outside (these were posted in TEG last week)

    Indoor view:

    Outdoor view:

Here's a view from your apartment. I've now got a working computer so people can send you space messages (and periodically items). You can also check your faction status with the local authorities. I may even add a news channel (though it would just be a book or something that you read - no animated stuff or anything fancy like that)

I was excited about the space traffic so I've goten rid of the transporter system and started replacing it with a taxi system. Here's a shot from the cockpit (yeah, it's just a flying scouting orb)

That looks amazing! Thanks for the update, and keep at it. I don't mind if it doesn't get released for another 5 years. Every screenshot gets better and better!

    Drool!

Y' know, you could just have an image and have the tv act like a sound source...

Like, the textures in Kill factory that you made, only just rather-worse-than-rocky-and-bullwinkle-animation.
