I don't care where the textures came from. Gimme some *#!%ing rope arrows and lemme at it!

Thanks. Yeah most of the textures come from Melan's pack. I also took some other textures from CGTextures and from other sources. I also keep the base T1 textures as well.
Oh you'll use your ropes, don't worry, but finding your way around will be harder this time.

Hey ! I can see the Stonemarket Clocktower !

Did you keep the layout of the original district of TDS or did you just invent one of your own ?

Nah it's my version of Stonemarket. There's nothing in common except the Clocktower.

    Suggestion for your Sets.

Could have done something wit those walls in stairways. Looking Great Adding your own Inspiration Picture in a Frame (even if it's off the point, it could inspire us also )

I'm kind of worried about brush count. It's up to 507 (including 10 or so objects/room brushes) and I'm maybe 1/10 finished.

I have - shock and amazement - actually been working on editing. I've been messing around with some of Purgator's grunt skins, recolouring them and adding an emblem to the front of the uniform, one of the ones from the first pass:

I've also been continuing my process of going through fixing up textures, currently dealing with wallpaper and carpets:

Need to deal with some of the wood textures next, and I'm playing around with patrols and roombrushing too.

The last 10 or 15 pages of this thread is just full of win. One screenshot after another. I hope all these missions eventually see the light of day (or night, to be more apropos).

Amazing things. Can't wait to play them all!!!
Reviving an old Dark Mod mission for NewDark myself. I love the Dark Mod, but I somehow think that the Dark Engine suits my story better. Perhaps just a quirk of mine. It's something about those heavy, lingering, dark shadows arrested in time.

And I was going to post a picture too... But I couldn't upload one.

HipBreaker, that looks awesome. Any more screenshots up your sleeve?

And ocn, all else fails you could get an imgur account or something? They allow hotlinking, and the free accounts get something like 200 images.

Window is very small for such high walls. Observe proportions.
But in general I like it.

I guess you meant my screens. If so, you are right.
I made them bigger. What do you think? its not too overkill?

Hi everybody, I've begun work on a mission with the working title of Lochdown. It's a night time city mission similar to Ambush, but with a completely original map, mechanists, and rain. Here's a picture.

I love the classic vibe of that, well done.

Rob and I have turned our attention back to our larger projects (DCE and MM3). It would be great to get the first 2 missions into test by the end of the year, but right now we're analyzing the plan and reworking a few things to make the story tighter, something which hasn't been done much in a few years. It's going to lead to some voice work being redone, but we think it's for the best. (Looks sidelong at SlyFoxx.)
