Preview: Bane III - Temple of Eternal Agony

Hi, in this thread I'll be posting my screenshots as the mission progresses.
The first set of screens belong to the first stage, the great outdoors! These are not final and I'll be editing these areas a lot in the future, so I'd appreciate any comments/constructive criticism.

Edit: it seems like these links aren't valid anymore. The images can be seen at this site (courtesy of my good friend clearing)!

Don't be too harsh now, these are only the rough drafts!

This reminds me on Aliens vs. Predator 2 ... it looks like that planet in the Predator Campaign ..but nice work!

Is there a ship on the first screenshot or is it something else?

Yes, it's a ship. If you play Bane II - Cult of the Damned, you'll know where it came from.

I see 'em now! The sky looks great, pure evil. But I'd recommend getting a texture with a less obvious repeat (or else up your texture scale) on all the rock walls.

Yes, I know it's a rough draft, but thought I would point it out anyway.

My timing must be bad, I don't see them still, and I don't see the new ones (just red X's in white squares, the "bad pic" thing)

Just to clarify things, the custom health shields you see in the screen shots is just the product of some FM I was playing overwriting my Thief files. I am not intending to use that kind of health bar.
I've also done some retexturing in the images I've posted. I'll post new screens soon.

You mean you play FMs and work on your own in the same install directory?

Hmm, that isn't a very good idea, is it?
I overwrite all the custom folders with my mission's folders, but it still can't get some of the over written stuff. Why the hell did I never make a separate install for my mission editing!

Thanks, that's the one! I'll probably make a separate Thief install, as Yondros implied.

Be sure you learn how to set up multiple installs efficiently. I have a dedicated separate T2 folder for every mission I've made and have in the works, plus one for playing FMs through Darkloader. That's a lot of folders! I'm going to be moving all the ones for completed missions to my NAS drive soon.
