    14/03/2008

The long wait is finally over.
After all this massive work.. after 1 year of building Solids, Objects, strange mechanisms.. etc..etc..
    After a long betatesting's time..
I want to say thanks to my betateam:
From GloriaCreep to FFox and Dafydd
    and Bikerdude
And All the rest of them:
    Dooh Nibor, xaussienanny ,
    Lightningline, maloo and Undead Gamer,

They did a very good job for me.
Without their help the missions you're goin to play couldn't been the same.

    Note for the installation:
Install this mission pack in the normal way.
Warning - this mission uses the latest version of gen.osm.
Check the file in your main Thief2 folder
    - it should be ''gen.osm 420kb 27/03/2000''.

If it isn't, extract the gen.osm file from the mission pack into your main Thief2 folder.

after the installation of the mission pack
you can also add The Thief Enhancement Pack:

    http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118999

to play this mission you don’t need scripts or whatever, play it and shutup… !

    Versions history:

    Version. 1.16 (15/03/08)
fixed an objective for fly level in mission 6.
fixed rare bug with the primary objective that fails without reasons at the end of mission 4.
fixed texts on the goals for mission 4.

    Version. 1.17 (16/03/08)
Adjusted a sequence in mission 2 that made the game too much frustrating.
Fixed an objective on mission 2.

    Version 1.18 (19/03/08)
FIxed a problem with the AIpathfind database on mission2

I relly didnt help much in the later stages of beta testing but I can still tell you your all in for a treat. There is some very cool stuff in this mission pack. Stuff that Ive never seen in a Thief mission , nor anyone else except the other beta testers. Sterlino did a great thing making this.

There is a lead-in movie you should see, so don't forget to click on INTRO on the very first screen.

Now this is getting really interesting.... should I be able to pick up those stone tablets?

And there is a neat "little friend trick" in the beginning of the second mission!

Timhotep: It's only been out 3 hours and you are posting spoilers already?

    I've got a problem.

(DO NOT EVEN DARE to click the spoiler when you are not in Mission 4!!!! )

I managed to build the second flying machine and I only flew straight into the air (the objective says so). But the mission fails after a few seconds in the air. Is there a special place where I have to fly?

Downloading now! Looks like I made the right choice not to go away tonight but I've wasted 5 hours already.

Thanks sterlino - been really looking forward to this.

PS - Love the falling leaves.

while I am deeply jealous of the betatesting team for getting their hands on this, what seems like an age ago

I thank them for their efforts and am slightly sad for them in that they won't be coming at this as a new fm now it's finally arrived

and many thanks to Sterlino for having the imagination and skill to build this mission, you are definitely one of my all time favourite mission authors

downloading now and I'm bouncing in my chair with excitement even though I won't get to play it until monday

.... well I might just sneak an hour .... or two in before then

Question re: Escape. There seems to be something frobbable around the bed in the guest room. Is there something there? As there was a separate key for that room I felt sure there ought to be.

Can't tell you how happy I am. No domestic duties and a cracking fm to play.
