TG FM: The Kill for Life (May 8, 2008)

    Author Dront.

As it was in my previous campaign, I arrived at my customer's mansion to the fourth floor, but he wasn't there - he just left me a letter which didn't explain anything. But I've managed to find some another very interesting thing...
In his room there was a book about guard reports. In it I read, quote: "The police offered us to catch Garrett. He was sent to the very guarded places of the city, but he survived. If he won't die here, I will deal with him myself." This isn't good anyway. My customer - his name is Walter, as it was said in his letter, - is going to make me die anyhow, anywhere and by anything. Maybe even now there is a sniper near the front entrance that will aim for my head!
What can I do? Maybe it's only one thing: get to Walter and kill him before he can do anything against me. According to the books and letters I found in his room, his true shelter is not far from his mansion, where I am now. I need just to pass a dozen of streets... and then go through not small cemetary. Rumors have it that the undead there are very brutal and eat anyone who can stand on their way. But I'd better be cut by zombie's claws, than slain by Walter's minions! I worked with undead in the Bonehoard, the mines, and the Hammerite Cathedral... and I don't think it'll be very difficult. I have to save my life, and I'll do it.

I'm going to have to play again from the start & conserve more health. I just don't have enough to finish this time. Nice mission. It looks primitive, but there is some good undead hack & slack gameplay.

Once I was in the target area, I found him, and he was very difficult ot destroy. It took me 1hour and 25 mins to complete on Normal difficulty

Thanks again for another fun game!

Gloria, I have had the same problem with TG, but this patch helped. Try it, it's working with TG as well. Use the GUI version, it's easy to install.

Oh, and thanks for the FM

    Hehe I'm kinda stuck...

I'm in the cemetery and all 9 haunts are dead...killed both guards in the room...and hit the button with an arrow...what now...?

EDIT: found me way out....Now in some target area room...2 zombies...and still finding key to his mansion...killed everything that moved so far =)

I never did figure out what that switch did...but I suspect it may be a trigger for the guards conversation. I got well into Walter's hideout before I ran out of health. I'm going to have to start again from the beginning.

Have you tried playing the mission through Dromed? I know that for some reason, Thief won't work on my system, but Dromed DOES. Weird.

    Bit stuck I'm afraid..

Fired a few arrows at that switch, but not sure if I hit it - didn't get any sort of 'operating' sound.

I've got to the rear of the cemetary and am in the room with the zombie by the blue bed. Gone round the wooden screen and opened the door in the wall. But I can't work out how to open the secret door in the wall across the room.

Someone give me a hint please?

    please !!

    So where's Walter?

I've been all thru his compound and killed everything but cannot find him. Where could he possibly be?

    Where is Walter Spoiler

When you enter the building there is an elevator to take you down. It is easy to miss. Take it down and you will find Walter.
