T2 FM:"Lord of the Thieves:Attack of the Orcs" (June 27,2008)

    Hi everyone!

Finally I have finished this mission! It's the first part in my "Lord of the Thieves" campaign, and I hope you will like it.

You can download it from here:
    http://files.filefront.com/LotT+Atta.../fileinfo.html
    http://rapidshare.com/files/12539760...e_Orc.zip.html (thanks,biker!)

I'd like to say thank you for beta-testers:
    -Dussander
    -nickie
    -undead gamer

Without them the mission would have quite some bugs, and they helped me a lot to improve it with their ideas, and suggestions.
Thanks for those people too who gave me his/her impression about the level.

I'd like to say thank you also to those people who helped me during the works of the mission somehow, and to those who made a lot of custom textures, objects, etc, which I used in the mission.

    Special thanks goes to:
    -tdbonko
I don't know how could I have finished this mission without his help and support
    (Hvala lepo )

    Cavalorn

P.S:I forgot to mention that if you need a lootlist, you can find it in the books directory (thanks,Dussander)

What a great way to start the weekend!

Only at the beginning, but the opening scene already sets the tone for some great atmosphere the "war zone" with the dead orcs right from the onset outside the gate was set up very well to show that a huge battle had taken place

Thank you for this and for releasing it at the beginning of the weekend

Great mission! Finished in just over an hour.

I really liked the fog effect for the floor in the large column room. Not sure if that has been done before, but it was very well placed in that room.

Really great start to the series! My only two suggestions: Perhaps later in the series we can actually see some events of the orcs and humans fighting? Also, a few more readables here and there from the humans mentioning their struggles against the incoming orc invasion and how they tried to hold them off would have added alot to the mission due to large parts where there is nothing to do but run forward. But those two suggestions in no way take away from the fact that this was a very well built and fun mission!

The archer dead behind the couch in the harp (dining room?) room with arrows in the couch indicating his last stand was a great small touch!

Thanks again for this wonderful mission, I will definately give it another try soon

It was originally done by NamelessVoice in Hazelshade Cemetery.

I've never tried that mission, but I will now - thanks for the info

Edit: I take it that it was a dromed beauty contest mission? Incredible looking mission nonetheless.

Anyway - thanks again for this one - I look forward to the rest of the Series!

I took a quick peak and this looks very interesting. Great orcs!! They look nasty. And, the sounds they make are just plain creepy.

I don't like asking this so early in the game as I like to explore around.
You did a very fine job of designing this huge FM, but have backtracked numerous times to find key #3. Thought I checked all the bodies. A hint would help me.

Thanks, Cavalorn, for another enjoyable adventure!

Look around in the little watchtower, where an orc is patroling. It's after the forge room. You will find a secret door in there
