    CoSaS Release Pack 1 - 178 Beds

Over the next few weeks / months I'm going to be releasing various packs of objects that we made for CoSaS, but aren't doing anyone any good sitting on my hardrive, when I have more than I could ever use. It'll be all sorts of things, but mostly furniture. Much of it has already been seen in Mission X, but there's tons more where that came from.

The first pack is easily the largest, but was easier for me to release because I already had the gallery mis file set up. I just needed to package it. 178 beds seems a little crazy, and it is, but only because at the time I didn't know how to load palettes into the game's memory to take advantage of the texture replace feature. So, ten different beds, and a large variety of different covers and sheets, and we wound up at that big number. (And yes, versions of each bed with replacement textures are in the package.)

    Download - 178 CoSaS Beds!

Other Packs: 178 Beds - Portcullises & Ladders - 18 Keys - Tinderbox & Flares - 103 Chairs - Chests, Boxes, and Luggage - Folded Clothes - Books and Scrolls - Light Gem & Health Shields - 80 Doors - Tiffany Lamps - Tables & Stands - Noble Skins & Drunk Voice - Lights of all Types - Desks, Cabinets, and Dressers - Drapes - Musical - Flowers - Bookcases - Loot - Pub Set - Bathroom Set - Gambling Set - Bow & Quiver - Dagger Motions

Custom bed objects are by Yametha. The textures are by redleaf and some by me (but mostly by her). Feel free to use, modify, mix and match, redo, or otherwise make your own all of them. But of course, please credit Yametha, redleaf, myself, Team CoSaS, etc, if you do.

The next pack will likely be something pretty small and simple, and I am not sure when I can do it. It will probably be the new flare setup I designed for the MX patch. Or the keys. We'll see how I feel about it.

Man, great pieces of art. Those are some great looking beds. Actually, they look so inviting I'm getting sleppy. Looking forward to have a few of those in upcoming missions to sleep on.

Hrm, I wonder. When I upload the new packs, should I edit them into the first post, make a new post and then link to it from the first post, or make a new thread for each...

I think new thread, and the first post in each should have a link to the others. In my experience, people tend to look for custom beds/custom chairs etc rather than custom anything.

Great beds! If I decide to use custom objects, these will be in my mission. Thanks for the gift to the community.

The transparent megenta at the bottom of "jbg-nubed01f.gif" is not transparent in game as well as in the demo mission.
