    T2 FM: Heading Out (2008.10.10)

This mission was started back in 2005
But never really finished until The Phantom poked me about it by mail.

Some Screens from the missions can be found in this ancient thread: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95254

    Enjoy.

    Southquarter mirror : http://www.southquarter.com/fms/data...ng_out_v_1.zip

Special thanks to my beta testers Tannar and Taffernick, who also helped me fix all the readables and making a lootlist (included in the zip)

    Great news, Camus.

But one thing: Please, don't use filefront (only) as a host. A lot of people are having problems downloading from them.

Thanks a lot for the mirrors added !!!

Anyone who wants to add more mirrors please do so, sent pm to Southquarter already, so if you can't download from filefront there should hopefully be more soon.

Wow, at first I thought this was a small mission then it opens up! Congrats on the release Camus.

Need some help though, I can't get into the Lord's bedroom to get the sword, any ideas?

    Hint:
There's a storage on the 2nd floor you may wanna check a bit closer

    Spoiler:
Check the back of the pillar there and look up

a thoroughly enjoyable mission. it didnt feel too restrictive within its boundaries due to the heights attainable. also, i love missions that give your rope arrows a good workout! good job.

Well I have been playing for hours and must be missing something. I have been everywhere I can, including the thieves highway, except for a window that I can see a table with 2 slow fall potions and a pick on the opposite wall. I can find no way in there. I also have no idea how to get to the sword, or any further. Thanks for any help!

That sound like the right window. On the street level there is a grassy area with trees behind some locked metal gates you can pick open. If you enter that area, turn around and look up you will see a broken window above you. There is a guard in that room. There are two ways to get up there. I find that the easiest is this: Just across from the window but at ground level, a part of the building juts out and it has a window with a wooden frame. Shoot a rope arrow into the top of the frame and you can mantle up onto this ledge. Retrieve your arrow. Then shoot a rope arrow into the top of the window frame of the broken window. Then look to the left. There is a high narrow window with a wooden frame also. Shoot another rope arrow into the top frame of that window and mantle up onto that ledge. (don't forget to retrieve your rope arrow) Then you will be able to get down under your other rope arrow and climb up to the broken window and you're in.

Every time I try to get to the upper floor of the pub the game shuts down.
    Anyone else?

Great mission! I totally enjoyed discovering two ways of getting to Wizer's place.
Anyone knows how to get to this area? (There is some loot there)

Just about to ask the same thing as Haplo. Still 135 short of loot requirement, so I reckon I need to get there. Help?

You aren't supposed to get up there, there's a vine bottle there but you can reach it if you lean out from the ledge below.

    Edit:
Also 3 of the 4 secrets contains loot, however you can get the loot requirement without finding any of them.

@ maga - haven't a clue I'm afraid. It never happened with any of the betas. Is this going up to the 2nd floor? Does it happen if you do it the other way round, i.e. go down from the roof?

No, Just tried climbing the stairs. I'll try the other way. Is there anything valuable in there?

Thanx, Camus, really good 'vertical' mission - some of those jumps & climbs were pretty hair-raising!

Found the 2 secrets I'd missed & finished 220 short of loot - that'll do.

Just one thing: there were lots of doors that seemed frobbable but weren't - this can be frustrating; e.g. n-w of the roof of the inn (with the hothouse & moss arrows) is a semi-circular tower with balcony & metal door - bit tricky getting there, only to find the door's unfrobbable.

Apart from that, really enjoyed this.
