Is this for T2? Maybe the Thief version should be in the thread title? (& perhaps *New*)

Guess I have the first post-release bug to report. Its not really a big deal, but it should be known.

The mission notes say that you should not have access to the Armory in mission one. However,

    spoiler:

Although the door is locked and not pickable, I was able to just walk right through the door as if it were transparent. I could pick up everything in the room and even manipulate the light switch.

    Playing on HARD.

Like I said, its certainly not game breaking and those who want to remain faithful to the mission narrative will simply not use this exploit. But I wanted to let you know.

NOTE: I assuming that the room in the "basement" with several fire arrows, mines, and 1 bottle of holy water is indeed the Armory to which you refer.

And by accident, I found the same thing as elkston on normal.

    On to Part 2.

    Ooh, a new Nicked mission!
Congratulations on finally getting the thing done.

Edit: Just reading the readme here, and it says:

QUICKSAVE WARNING! There may occasionally be times in mission one where the ghosting objective fails suddenly. This is usually due to a guard hearing you even though you didn't make much noise. For this reason, please check to make sure you have no failed objectives before quicksaving, as there's nothing more frustrating than having a save just before the Mission Failed screen!
Wouldn't it have made sense to put a "GHOSTING FAILED!" on-screen message in to avoid this?

It would have, but I had to rewrite the whole ghosting objective about 3 times due to various problems as it was, and I didn't want to tamper with it any more!

Hi, I am getting very frustrated with the teleport from room to room without getting any where. Can someone guide me through this.

    Silent Warrior -

    Hint: Read the floor...
Bigger hint: The plaques on the floor in each room spell out 1. Exit 2. Through 3. The 4. Light
Outright answer: The hanging lamps are frobbable. There are two. One will take you to the nursery, the other to the drawing room.

I have completed the objectives of the first part, 7 out of 10 secrets, returned to the streets and nothing happens. Shouldn't mission end at this point or do I have to control alt shift end to get to second part?

The mission ends normally. But you have to go far enough down the street. Try returning to the main gate where you started the mission. Garrett does, after all, want to leave the area entirely.

No, I definitely had gone all the way to the end of the street. The problem must be that the stats show I have 7 secrets but the objective has not checked off. That's o.k., I'll go back and find more secrets. Normally I don't ghost but it has been great fun ghosting this mission. Fine fine mission !!!!
