New members can't edit there original posts. I believe, if you post two more times, your post count will be up to 30. That means, you aren't a new member anymore, and you *should* be able to edit your original post. Try it.

I'm lost as well......where do you find the sword on part 3? If it's in the attic safe, I'm going to have to do a whole lot of cross-referencing. This one is great by the way.

@The Mike: you can find the sword in the reception room (with the guests register)

Can't get out of the elevator !

In Part 1 I took the elevator (very slow by the way) down to the basement thinking the generator is there to shut it off, but now I can't get out of the elevator Hard time getting in on the 3rd floor as well. Any suggestions?

sometime you get caught midway in the physics model, you might have to jump, but the elevator should sound like wood not metal, then you should be able to shimmy out.

Any idea what has to be done to destroy the portal in part 3? So far, I put out the candles on the skulls by frobbing the skulls and hit/shot down the skulls surrounding the portal.
    @donderosa: you got a PM.

Ah, thanks UliB! Hm, so it seems I need to replay the last part - and I'm really looking forward to it; still have to test some of the weapons...

    Very fun mission.

I think it's fairly obvious who made it!

mission 2 - I must be spacing out, because I can't find the book or the wet thing to bless as a weapon... and why am I turning the lights back on? that seems kind of dumb

a few "bugs" (or at least things I don't understand): the compass is backwards, so north is south; the boards are too small to fit into the dumbwaiter, except in the basement; shouldn't the lights be switched off, even once i restore power?

    wand or the sword works

the compass isn't really backwards, its read backwards, so when you face north the N will be facing you, not the north. its not really critical in such a small space.

For the "wet thing" look in the bathroom.

I am assuming you mean the ledge outside the dumbwaiter? If so, are you jumping onto that ledge and then trying to enter the dumbwaiter? If you are, try walking straight at the ledge, you will automatically climb on it. As soon as you are on it, immediately crouch. That should get you in.

Well I've solved the sudoku puzzle and followed the instructions I was given but nothing happend (Yes I'm sure it's correct, I double checked and even fiddled around with alternate combinations).
Fortunatley for me you can frob the contents of the safe through the door

I really enjoyed this mission! The space is well used and it's a novel approach to getting more mileage out of a limited area.

However, I also could not figure out the combination. Can someone PM it to me, please? I'm terrible at anything math related.

    Excellent mission! Thanks!

This was fun! Unless I'm very much mistaken, the author is pretty easy to guess though!

Great mission. But I do need some help in part 3... how do I destroy the portal? I've already put out the candles and destroyed the skulls... nothing happens, so now what? Thanks

@Hotlyx - You don't need to put out the candles but it doesn't matter if you do. But be sure you are destroying the right skulls. Not the ones with the candles, the ones around the portal on the little shelves.
