T2 FM: DooM Updated to Version 1.2

The T2 conversion of DooM has been updated to version 1.2. I deleted 6 or 7 Thumbs.db files.

    Grab it here.

Is that all you did? Changelog please?

The update was mainly for those host sites to grab the newer version so fans won't get that error message. I'm 57 and have no idea what a changelog is.

Where's my teeth? Anyone seen my teeth?

Well I was just wondering if it was some major update so I would want to download it again. A changelog could be as simple as you typing out on here (or in a readme txt file) what exactly you "updated"

for example (made up for the sake of example):

    Doom FM v1.2

    - Deleted 6 thumbs.db files
    - Added a new weapon
    - Fixed some bugs missed in last version
    - New difficulty settings
    - New maps added!

    Or something like that.

Also, "that error message" ? See, that's something you did. You fixed the package so it would stop some error message, though I honestly don't know what you are talking about here.

Darkloader was saying: Cannot load Thumbs.db Press OK and the game still loads and plays, but some were complaining about it.

Ah okay, I see now. Makes sense.
Hmm interesting. I never got a thumbs.db error message.

    Interesting... Thank you.

You can play doom 1&2 with Zdoom btw. Freeware runs on Linux AND windows.
You can also play strife with it.

As well as gzdoom (zdoom with opengl) skulltag (skulltag is awesome:cheeky)
, etc. There's a bunch of source ports out there for doom nowadays.

Strange, that did not happen to me with the previous version.

Anyway, had some fun with both versions. Thanks!

    I'm playing right now.
Just wanted to say: I'm impressed! I can't believe it's so... similar! I even didn't expect that.
It's a surprise: does textures make atmosphere? Just texstures? Because I feel that old Doom atmosphere, even guards can't ruin it. What about robots... They found their place. I don't know how I ever will play real Doom without them.
    Thanks Ricebug, it is wonderful!
(Started to produce ideas how to improve the project: bare arm instead of blackjack... medicine boxes... treebeasts > demons, fire elementals > cacodemons... DOOM MUSIC at last!)

I only put the missions on my site until they're mirrored by other hosts. Just don't have the room to keep 'em all there.
