Merry Christmas (2008) - Strife II Is Under Your Tree

The continuation to Strife is now ready for D/L. It's a 3-mission campaign that picks up where the first mission left off. Walkthroughs are included in the zip file to minimize postings.

The crossbow is deadly. One bolt will take out an enemy, even if they are drawing their weapon. The No Kill objective? Hah! Not in my missions.

    Grab Strife II here.

    Merry Christmas.

    Not A Bug, But...

Someone PM'd me to let me know he was able to get on top of the big thing with the four pistons that move up and down. He saw a switch, leaped onto it, and got squished by a piston. Then T2 locked up on him.

The switch is part of the piston animation, and was left there and forgotten. I'll make note of it and bury it in a future revision so curious taffers don't get killed.

P.S.--I want to thank the beta-testers for making Strife II possible. I do apologize to those who weren't finished testing the final mission. I know people were enjoying Christmas instead of bug-swatting a Thief mission. The feedback I did get back indicated that it was "essentially" bug-free, even though I found other problems.

For some reason, this mission wont load in GarrettLoader.
It goes in that "Can not determine to be a FM" list.

Hi...if you need the keyThe Key to the elevator is not in the water but on a machine...I cant remember where but just keep looking at all the machines...Its some kind of large Stamping machine that is not in use...you have to lift it and the key is inside.

Go to where the garden area is. In the water with the mech bot, hug the left wall.

There is a door there which leads to a helmet covered Mechanist.

I spent an hour doing what you're doing now.

That makes me feel better. I've been trudging through the sewers

for 1 hour 40 mins., and the * fun * was beginning to fade.

I thought I was the only * lost soul *

    Thank you.

I included walkthrus in the zipfile. Look for a folder in your T2 directory called Walkthru. They're broken down by objective.

    LOL
You got me killed too! As one of the few people who has played the original game, I remember that theres a secret in that same spot! I jumping back and forth over pistons, trying to figure out what it was doing.

there seem to be a lot of those, though I can't remember where they all are. a notable one was in the power plant, by the ape-beast's cell. I knew what it was going to do (open the cell doors once I passed a certain spot) so I just frobbed it myself

besides the visible switches, there are also missing elevators in the sewers and power plant - they are short enough to mantle, though. also, in the prison: the gold key works on the control room door; if you enter the room and release the prisoners before reading the judge's note, the game ends without activating the objective. maybe you should have waited to get everyone's feedback?

Anyone have a loot list for The Power Plant/Docks?
I checked the walkthrough, and got everything listed, but according to the end missions stats Im still missing loot and a secret.
