    Percolator Particulate Problem --- SOLVED

I have a nice coffee pot which I want to have a flame under and steam escaping from the spout.

The problem is that the steam shuts off after about 3 seconds, and I can not figure out why. It must be something obvious, but I just can't see it. The flame goes forever, as intended, but not the steam ... These are my particle settings for the steam. What's wrong?

Update: I relocated the steam effect from under GasFX>SmokePuff>SteamPuff to be directly under SmokePuff instead, and that seems to have done the trick. I don't know what it was inheriting from SteamPuff that caused the problem, but, so far, this seems to be OK ... knock WOOD.GIF

Update to the UPDATE: Nope. That wasn't it. It is back to shutting itself off after 3 seconds or so. sigh.

Update to the UPDATE to the UPDATE: It turns out that GasFX>SmokePuff has got Tweq>Delete and Tweq>DeleteState set. I moved the effect out from under that and it now stays steaming. Whew! What I don't go through for a pot of coffee!!

Hey!, a pot of good coffee is good for alot of updates! It helps me to update, when Jack D finds itself in my shot glass once too often.
