I had some catching up, but I read slowly and got till the end of Book 2... well, almost. Anyway, the story is really nice, loving the "familiar" locations revisited and the general way of writing. I'll read some more when my bookworm regenerates. (It's pretty dead and dry now... always been a lazy reader)

Nice to have 5 our of 6 books collected already. Soon my collection shall be complete.

The climax and conclusion begins with Book 6's first chapter:

    Chapter 21: With Breaths Held

Quick poll! How many people will be reading chapter 21 this week?

Well, I'm downloading it now but will want to read it in-full in the hard-copy format. It does look good, though

Looks like no-one's read through Chapter 21 yet, so the power outage and DNS failure shouldn't have made anyone too anxious, right? Right?

Chapter 22: No Name by the Tongue of Man

Next Sunday the saga comes to a close. Just as we stared off with the first two chapters, I'll be posting both final chapters together next weekend.

Hmm, p.987 has Chapter 22 in the header despite being in Chapter 21. Seems that's the case for all other Chapters as well. Other than that, it all looks good

Congratulations Digi! I read the original some 9(?) years ago at this point, and look forward to doing so again! (do you feel a tremendous weight lifting from your shoulders yet? )

Something like that! I won't feel the weight lifted until the printed version is ready to go, though.

There's a few things going on with that. A professional formatting engineer is working on designing the layout for the printed book, but as the "pro" work suggests, he doesn't have alot of free time for it, and the book is 1100 pages long. I have a huge pile of proofreading notes from readers of the online edition which need to be addressed, but I can't while the formatter is working on it. Then there's the matter of the six book covers as well, only two of which are totally finished. So... time marches on.

Awesome. Collected it all on mah PC, now I've got some reading to do.

I think Ghost's bits are the most fun to read btw. (Hey, bird guy!)

Digi did a really good job of taking the character i made with the few bits i wrote and really grabbed the character and ran with it.
As i was reading i kept thinking "yup that sounds like something i would have written!" so it definately gets my approval.

that said i'm going to start reading the last 2 chapters now.

Congrats! I really enjoyed reading several of the drafts; I don't have time to dive in immediately, but I'll try to get around to the final copy sometime soon!

A great read, thoroughly enjoying it. I'm on Chapter 8 at the moment

There's quite a few grammatical errors, but they can be ignored, the meaning still comes across.
