    Mech Angelo T2 FM Nov/10

This started out as just screwing around with hi-res textures. One room led to another. Then I found some cool water textures. After pestering the T2 Editor's Guild with a bunch of noob questions, a story began to develop.

For those of you who do NOT have DDFix installed, there's a standard, lo-res version in the Xtras folder. Grab Mech Angelo here.

Download der Deutschen briefing filme hier.

    Enjoy!

Note: There is an updated, NewDark version of this FM available. You can find the thread for it here.

I'm glad that you've decided to create another FM. We thought that Crooked Town would be your last!!

    How goes the recovery?

    Thanks. Looks really great

One strange thing though, when I am in this corridor, I can hear a
guard or something walking around and mumbling. Don't know if he is above or beneath me,
but the guard should not be that loud. When walking through this corridor my Garrett instincts keep
telling me that a guard is just around the corner (thats what it sounds like) !

Only just time to install and look at the start tonight. But I'm wondering if I've missed some briefing info? The objectives seem to imply prior knowledge of 'the incriminating letter' (what letter?) and 'the reverend' (what reverend?) etc. All I saw was a brief text only video.

Cool, thanks! You might want to put the date in the thread title so people don't think it's an old mission and miss it.

You're not alone with this. I can hear him too. But, never mind, it must be a minor bug, or something...

You probably need to do some clean up. Check the section called "Clean up of files" here: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48202

    1. The intro briefing speaks of a crooked preacher.
    2. There's a letter that you'll find later.
    3. As you go along, the story will come together.

As far as the sounds of the guard, this was pointed out by the beta team. He is in a separate air and room brush from the hallway you hear him in. Neither the air nor room brushes touch. Why you can hear him, I don't know.

There is a strange square moon.

I have already obtained the sceptor and left the crypts but I have not been able to open but one door near where the guards are being quartered. Is there something I may have missed in the crypts?

I also can not find any information on the door code below the altar.

I do not really want to go back down to the crypts it's scary down there. I dread guantlets.

    You might have to...

When you picked up the scepter, did you pick up a key as well?

If not, you need to go back and get it.

Thanks. I checked this out but nothing to clean up. I recall something in the Fables readme about backing up dark.cfg which I did but I see the original is dated 2000 so I presume it has not been changed.

I'll look in the zip to see if there is an extra video or something that didn't show.

Actually I had misunderstood the question. I think Ricebug gave you the correct answer above.

Yes, while looking around I forgot to read one of the letters on a table that I just walked right by without seeing it. After I read it I realized it's time to go back.

    Which one?

One is carried by a pixie in the underground tunnel. For the city gates you need to find the painter.

    Question about

    spoiler:

the priest's key. It is supposed to be somewhere in the crypts or the area after that.
    Where is it?
