Who is worse, a person who did that, whatever it is, or a person who not only read it but reposted it somewhere else?
Hard to say if this guy was a troll or not, but people like him do exist so who knows?
Every time I think I reach the end of it, there's a link to the next part. It's horrifying. This is some real "an entire year of you in a single speck of blood" shit right there man.
Who is worse, a person who did that, whatever it is, or a person who not only read it but reposted it somewhere else?

So I gather dethtoll's been very busy making a whole lot of friends around here.![]()
Props to whoever translated the whole thing. They did a great job of making it sound like natural English.
Ugh, these are the things that make my stomach turn about returning to Tokyo.
The reason it works is because even if it is a troll, it hits all the buttons that are all-too-familiar in Japan -- yeah there are people like this everywhere, but it's more familiar there because of the whole culture of holding in your feelings come hell or high water (in the US / Europe the woman would have been more straightforward just to say "Look, I'm not into you." and the guy would get it) and the "dame" part of otaku culture, where guys revel in stewing in their own humiliation & even pushing it as far as it'll go... So familiar that even my evolved spodey senses can't be sure one way or another... Thank God I have normal friends in Tokyo at least.

I wish I didn't read this.
I've always said if you don't get to second base in the first three minutes then move on to the next one.
Okay, maybe somewhere in between my approach and his. Mine works though. Better than his anyway.
Eh, while there are guys "like" this, I'd chuck it as a troll. I was mildly buying it until the 600 emails bit.
I can't help but read it in morbid fascination, my jaw slowly dropping from increasing amazement.
It's lines like this that make it worthwhile, though: 'Getting 70 emails in a day from somebody I don’t like would bring me to gross sobbing. '
Haw!No need to make flaming literal
Actually, reading that reminds me of one of our own classic TTLG threads. Good, good ol' days.
Same here, it's like watching a train crashing into a bus in slow motion, it just goes on and on and gets worse and worse. And I so hard tried not to click! I'm too curious for my own good...
Seems like a troll, but also could be true, in which case it's just sad. He might have luck with a girl who is equally shy and interactionally challenged, but for some reason it often seems the more shy you are, the more likely you're gonna fall in love in someone who's the complete opposite. Of course that could work, but it's quite unlikely.
Well in the end he does get lucky, with the girl that's been milking him haha.
If it is a troll he did some clever scripting to be just on that line & carry the crowd with him.
I don't care if it's a troll, THAT is entertainment. I love the baiting from on-lookers.
Also, the bon mots get increasingly better:
"I’m really starting to read the “Help!” in the title as Denko’s screaming."
[EDIT] Perplexing lack of popcorn of work :/
[EDIT] Jesus, I'm still reading. I'm starting to worry about diminishing returns, but this is pure train wreck.
