    Corpse part loot ?

I have been playing around with the idea based on rewarding the player with kill loot. They take out an ai, and using a corpse part that was pre-created in a blue room so they are concrete loot objects. What do I do to make these corpse part loot objects reliable, so they will always appear, and to make them drop down to the ground after the ai is destroyed ? This will be a part of the 1stLoot count. Unless you think that special loot would be less risky. Any knoweldge out there ?
    Thanks !

    Golden zombies? Kinky!

Why not just make a special (golden) zombie part under Loot in the hierarchy and then add a CorpsePart link to it in the M-ZombieParts metaprop.

Thanks Larry, this sounds good !

Thanks Larry, I hadn't thought of Zombies, as I would worry about the loot flying into a wall or something similar, then the player may not be able to find it. I was thinking more on the lines of the fire arrow dropping to the ground when a fireshadow was destroyed. I think I have the gravity figured on the special loot so it drops straight down to the ground. I the past, my corpse parts just hung in the air like magic.

You need to use a Sphere model type and make sure Location, Rotation are not checked so they fall to the ground when they're created.

Maybe a golden heart or liver or bone (we already have the golden bones, no?)

The ZombieKaboom (SFX > SplashFX > ZombieKaboom) (or maybe it's the DelayZomKaboom which is a corpse part in M-ZombieParts ... yeah, I think that's the one) is the culprit for scattering the zombie parts. I don't know what you want to do about that, but I personally think that searching for the gold which was scattered might not be a bad thing.

I am still having the same problem I did years back trying this. Some of the loot is not being rendered visible when hitting ground. You have to blind frob for it. Any suggestions I could try to make it 100 percent doable for Loot's sake? okay then, if not, then For Petes Sake?

Try a larger radius. It may take several tries to get it just right.

Thanks Larry, I had 2 loot objects that I had to eliminate, just plain buggy, but I still have three that prove themselves to be reliable. I will still add more loot, to allow for missing loot if something went wrong in game after release. Now, I am on a hunt to find replacements for the 2 bad objects.

How the zomnbie kaboom works is it blasts anything spawnwed before it in the list.

    So you could have:

    zombie parts 1-4
    kaboom
    gold heart

and the heart SHOULD just drop, even though all the fleshy parts scattered.

It might not drop, in which case you could make a mini kaboom and spawn it last. Youd basically be giving it a very minor force just to move. The regulkar kaboom is quite a bit of force.
