Any new non transparent Drapes ?

Doing a search on drapes, it seems someone, maybe Nv made some non transparent drapes that would not vanish in game. Setting transparency 1.00 on the T2 stock drapes doesn't do squat.
Just for info, I am using window frame objects, and with the drapes over them. They look nice when directly in front of them, but then vanish at right angles. After spending an hour trying to adjust the drapes so they dont overwhelm the window frame object, I am ready for some more Jim Beam, and to curse a few nasty ones, but I will refrain for now.

Does anyone have the proper .bin objects that correct this ? Thanks for any help.

Thanks Larry, these are the drapes I am using, but they still have the same problems as the T2 stock drapes. I am using jdrg-cdrap01.bin

These don't vanish. They work great. There is no transparency on them. And no transparency issues. What are you doing?

I was originally using T2 stock drapes. drape2.bin, which already had transparency alpha 1.00 on them and changed object models to the .bin from cosas, but I will remove the transparency on a newly created drape in the object hierarchy. I will report back if they are still a problem.

Now they are good as I didn't use the transparency 1.00 Thanks Larry !

That's the cause of the problem. If none of the object's textures use transparency, that property causes funny rendering issues. In this case the property is inherited from a a parent archetype.

See this thread, which also mentions other archetypes that could be fixed:

Thanks Robin, thats good information. I have some of the objects mentioned in your thread, so I will change them as suggested.
