    I've been wondering about that too, fxdwg!

    Nickie: A little trick I found to get past a guard facing you behind the coded door: Lure them outside, then run back up and press one of the code buttons by the door as you go through to lock them out. You can still return to the outside part of the mission, if you need to by bashing down the wooden door in the upstairs dining room with your trusty BJ and returning through the sewer bit to be tellied to your cell again.

    a Shizopphrenica question

    Hi Taffers,

    Have I lost my ability to jump or what?

    I'm replaying Shizophrenica from 2013, but I can't get on the platform using the pipes, near the starting point in the house with the red curtain.
    It's where I slip down into some water, using chains to climb up a.s.o.
    Is this a New Dark problem?

    Sorry I've been away for some time.
    Had a great loss in my direct family, but I'm grateful to be able to loose myself for a bit in a Thiefmission or a betatest.

    its possible,here is what i did jumped on first chain then to other chain against wall,then i aimed to the left of pipe that is vertical and jumped to the pipe going horizontal climbed on that,be sure you able to crouch on horizontal pipe so you able to jump to top ledge,save anytime you get further so you don't have to redo it

    its never been easy but with new dark should be a bit easyer

    I had to re-install New Dark and upgraded to 1.25. When I was testing a mission, I found that I couldn't mantle. Totally forgot about un-commenting the new mantle line in the config file.

    I just played version 1.2 on Mad, and have encountered some apparent anomalies.

    1. I cannot unlock the rug in the downstairs bedroom in the house. I think the key is supposed to be in a recess near the top of the ladder of the tower in which you start. The recess is there, but it's empty, and the key is not in my inventory.

    2. I think the Old Hammerite Key is suppposed to open a door behind an empty exhibit case in the exhibition area, but although I can hear a door unlock behind that case when I use the key, I cannot see a way to access the door. I can't open the panel to access the case. SOLVED - see below.

    2. With the Exit key I opened a door labelled Back Door. Behind that is another locked door for which I do not have a key. All the objectives are fulfilled except to escape, and the game does not end when I open the Back Door.


    2. is now SOLVED - found lever on top edge of the same side of the case as the panel.

    I played this FM 2 weeks ago on mad difficulty and didn't encounter any issues
    1. On "mad" the key is somewhere else. Since this is some kind of an easter egg, I won't give any hints
    2. The switch is on the empty case. Look up. Then just frob the secret door inside.
    3. The back-back door will be opened when all objectives are fulfilled.

    I solved 2, and updated my post accordingly.

    As I said, all the Objectives I have triggered are already fulfilled. As the second Back Door is not yet open, you appear to be saying there are more Objectives, but you offer no clue as to what they are or even how many there are. That leaves me unable to finish the game correctly unless I'm prepared to invest time in randomly trying to trigger an unknown number of further Objectives.

    So, the Objectives I know about are (and they are all fulfilled except the first):

    1. Leave
    2. Find info about the place
    3. Get back your club
    4. Look for the Dr's personal notes
    5. Find your medical report
    6. Find a cure
    7. Take the Dr there (to the Hammerite ghost chapel)
    8. Get 500 loot.
