    Contest Description
    The 48 hour contest challenged authors to create an entire mission start to finish in a single 48 hour period. Entries may have bugs or may be unfinished in different aspects.

    Mission description
    My old Keeper friend Xavier has been holding my money from the Ramirez job I pulled last night. He lives near Old quarter and I am going there tonight to get my money from him.

    This mission does not start, "Strings / missflag.str" is missing from the zip!

    Weird, it works for me, though there is no ending and you have to manually end the mission.
    It was a nice one. Very small but enjoyable.

    I'm kinda stuck, I have no idea where to go. I'm in a house with a blue door I can't frob, and the street seems to be a dead end
    I obviously miss something.

    Look around the kitchen a little more carefully.

    Fast but not bad mission. Too bad I couldn't win the mission though, but at least, you guess when you finish it.

    The lever part was a bit hard otherwise I liked the mission, too bad that the final room and the sword didn't worked...

    That facts that the blackjack has a flare shape was a bit odd although this mission was good...

    I digged the old quarter style area at the 2nd half of the mission. Gave off a really nice feeling from an aesthetic sense.

    I tried this through FM Sel and Running Interference started.

    Edit: It was easy enough to add a strings/missflag.str file. I made it inside the first building as far as the bathroom. There is a metal door past the bathroom, but I'm at a loss of what I'm supposed to do or where to go.

    missflag.str? How do I make this?

    Just a dummy file in a folder called "strings"?

    No its the file that tells Thief to skip down to the mission number i.e. in this case miss20.

    Just in case there is no update before the contest ends...

    Copy the following into notepad and save as missflag.str in a c:\strings folder. Make sure there is one blank line at the end of the following text: From there just copy that folder to the mission's zip file:

    // Valid mission flags
    //
    // skip This mission doesn't exist; it should be skipped.
    // no_briefing Skip the briefing movie
    // no_loadout Skip the loadout
    // cutscene Play a cutscene immediately afterward
    // end End the game when this mission is completed
    //

    miss_1: "skip"
    miss_2: "skip"
    miss_3: "skip"
    miss_4: "skip"
    miss_5: "skip"
    miss_6: "skip"
    miss_7: "skip"
    miss_8: "skip"
    miss_9: "skip"
    miss_10: "skip"
    miss_11: "skip"
    miss_12: "skip"
    miss_13: "skip"
    miss_14: "skip"
    miss_15: "skip"
    miss_16: "skip"
    miss_17: "skip"
    miss_18: "skip"
    miss_19: "skip"
    miss_20: "no_briefing,no_loadout,end"

    OK, I got it now.

    that gate with the guard in front of it in the beginning of the mission is openable (doesn't appear as frobbable at first) but there's nothing in there

    For some odd reason, the blackjack shows in the inventory box as a torch.

    Kind of interesting FM. I am stuck still, but I progressed as far as I could.

    I had a huge issue with the sword - I tried attacking the undead with it, but to no avail. I couldn't figure out what to do to get through the end gate on the wall, it was unlockable. I figured I must need to go in the cottage that the unkillable undead was in, so I tried and died every time. Other than that, it was well-decorated and had well-thought-out ambients. I thought it was nicely done, especially for the little time given. Wish I could have killed that undead, though, and gotten to the end.

    My sword isn't visible either but the blackjack inventory pic is a flare. Oh the sword doesn't have any effect either.

    Caradavin how did you get past the beginning? I'm stuck at the metal door near a bathroom.

    Strange, i think i have reached the final room (red stairs that lead to a Wall) i opened a gate with a yellow key that i found in a cellar with a hermit with flames, but the goal didn´t ticked off, also the constantine sword doesn´t work, not to mention the creature lying on the cellar floor wich has no skin texture.

    I think it has been accepted that the mission does not finish at that dead-end as expected, since it is the final room.
    So, you can consider the mission complete.
