T2 FM: Who is Hugo? (NewDark 1.21) 10/2013

    Hello,

how shall I put it..? Garrett has drunken far too much, and now he does not remember anything. Why is he in this backyard? And who is the guy in front of him? But perhaps he will remember after thinking about it...

If you want to know, here is the place:
    Who is Hugo? - Hugo_V2-zip (file-upload)
-> Mirror: Hugo_V2-zip (Thanks to clearing!)

    Please note:
    * tnhscript is needed! (It is in the zip included.)
    * The mission is optimised for the EP (textures and objects) included in TafferPatcher. But without it should work, too.
    * The candles in the mission cannot be extinguished. Neither with water nor with blowing out.
    * The mission was originally planned for the NewDark 64-Cubed Contest. But because it is not built in one 64^3 cube but in nearly 15 with a sum of 64^3 I didn't use it. But nonetheless I wanted to finish it (although it is size restricted).

And I want to thank all those, who helped me!
    * Especially my betatesters: fibanocci, kdau, nickie, The_Cleaner, undead gamer, zappenduster
    * And Christine for the object she modified for me!
    * And of course my voice actors: Yandros, saxmeister, zappenduster, The_Cleaner
    Thank you!

Hopefully I have not forgotten something...
Well, play on your own risk. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm right at the start of the mission and like to give credit for the great German voice acting! Well done!

Also: He looks a bit like Bradley Cooper!

    Congratulations Notesthes.

Some items are located in different places depending on difficulty so please make sure to say what level you're playing when asking for help.

I'd also like to compliment saxmeister on his Garrett!

    Runs fine with FM Selector.

And thanks to you Notesthes both for the mission and providing an fm.ini in it.

This was fun! I'm missing a couple of secrets though so I'll have to go back and poke around a bit more. Thanks!

I am about finished. I have most of the loot requirement but can't find the second lock pick. Is it one of the secrets I missed? Playing on expert.

Thought I'd finished, but although I've some Thyme, Rosemary, Oregano and Basil, my Herb objective hasn't ticked. Have I the correct item?

Yes, if you find more secret(s), you'll get your other lock pick. As well as some other fun surprises.

What you found does have a use, but you'll need to find a different set of herbs for that objective. Note whose herbs the objective asks for.

I could use a little help with the safe at Bambelton and the one at Thorschild. There is also a door at Thorschild on the first floor but I cannot figure out how to open. Thanks!

    Thank you for the congratulations!

    Kaain:
I need a little more detail. What is your problem with the safes?
You can only open doors that you can select. If the door isn't frobable you cannot open it.

    bedwine:
Garrett lost his lockpicks on the way from the tavern into the backyard. You noticed the crack next to the stairs on the floor in the abandoned house?

In the cellar under the crack behind the crates with the light fungus is the lockpick. (The entrance is under the stairs on the outside.)

Hm, then it is not there. It is upstairs in the abandoned house next to the foot locker (next to the rat, which took it there).
