    T2 NEW DARK MISSION: "Mechanists on the rise" v 1.9 updated (30-12-16)

    Hi everyone, i am proud to finally announce another team project created by me, Darthslair and also featuring Ravenhook.

    here it is the mission updated to V 2.0 running fine in every pc with no flaws :

    Changes in V 1.9 :

    -Both skyboxes quality have been improved

    Changes in V 2.0:

    -Add Ricebug Walktroug
    -Updated to Newdark 1.25
    -fixed a quest item
    -fixed some doors rotation
    -other minor fixes

    It is recomended to install this mission via Thief 2 Fm selector or Darkloader.

    Its been along time since i haven´t released any mission, there was a time i used to release four missions in a year, but with my current life now i can hardly find inspiration or rest to dedicate myself to dromed. I´m not sure i will be working more with Dromed, but at least i will be helping Firemage with his next project...well... enough said, i just hope you enjoy playing this project that took 3 years to be developed and to be finally ready for you players to live it.

    NOTE BEFORE PLAYING!!!: YOU need to disable the EP, simply rename it epbak.crf, then remove the bak bit afterwards.

    downloading now,i am excited to play it,and i hope your next project is part of of my fav mission,in a relaxed surreal area :P



    well it started out amazing,then the lag hit,and it was unplayable,my system is only a bit older then 1 year old,and i wanted so bad to complete it.

    Thank you for the mission, but something seems to be wrong with it in DarkLoader.

    It shows up as a foreign language mission called "Heimwärts" and DarkLoader says "This is a foreign language mission and will be automatically fixed to work properly with your version."

    Also it does not show the "The rise of the mechanist.txt" file in the root of the archive. It shows some german file starting with:
    ke11906a
    Guten Tag, Gärrett.

    Hope this can be fixed.

    PS: If i run the mission all the standard equipment is named in german.

    I'm getting the same thing, it looks like Darkloader is displaying the file "TEXTE.txt" from the snd/German/ folder.

    Looks like Pedro is going to update the file first. Drop box has bandwidth limitations.

    Thanks for the fix, though the title of the mission is still shown as "Heimwärts" in DarkLoader, the rest seems to be fixed.

    Unfortunately i have a problems with CTD's when trying to reload saves done after i climb up the rope to the surface.

    Congrats on the release, But i have the same problem, Can`t reload a savegame after going up.

    I had the same problem with the savegames but fortunately the following sections are easy to navigate and explore, so I didn't have much trouble in make progress.

    I'm stuck with the code book, I thought the number was 1865 but it doesn't work. Can anyone tell me the solution?

    That´s because your playing with the german language, wich has the code outdated.

    Sorry but i don´t know what causes that problema, i myself never had that bug, and i don´t know how to fix that

    That`s weird????? When i quit playing and after a hour started again, It won`t start up anymore, just crashes back to desktop????
    When i try another FM, it loads up fine>>???

    Look in the Cistern area closely.

    Then how come you tried 1865?

    The questions were:

    2 - How many planets in the Solar System existed 100 years ago? I guess 8 because Pluto was discovered after 1913.
    3 - How many continents are on Earth? I guess 6

    But I think I have mixed the two versions, because the items are in german but the texts in english.
