    Updated-Cataclysmic Revelations Campaign V1.2-NewDarkV1.21-Nov.3th,2014

After diligent beta testing by six of the best testers, I present:
    Cataclysmic Revelations Campaign

    Updated to V.1.2

    Part 1: "Revelations"
    Part 2: "The Mission"
    Part 3: "Salvation"
    Part 4:"Shine on You"

1.STORY: The World has changed. The Earth and it's People are Crying out for answers. The Keepers usually unseen unless they choose to be seen have placed glyphs throughout
the lands. The Glyphs not unseen by Garrett, steal his curiosity. The Hammerites have increased their activities, and for some unknown reasons have established themselves once
again, in the "The Haunted Cathedral" Now Excorcised, the Hammers have gathered to do "Thy Builders Work" The Cathedral and it's Shrines, hold memory of Saint Yora, Saint Jenel,
Saint Tennor, and Saint Vale. The Victorious Saints who continually fight the evil in the World.

Meteor's and Comet's are frequenting the night skies. The Moon has turned red ,and rumbles of earthquakes stir great fear into the hearts of men. Last night at the
Taffer's Tavern, Fingers the Fingerman spoke a little too loudly, mentioning something about something "suspicious" at the old institution. Garrett's keen sense drives him further,
as he remembered the nightmare that once existed inside those walls. " Hammers moving back into that place?" Garrett sets out to find out why the Hammer's have moved back in,
and intends to discover also what the Keepers are doing, and possibly learn what they know. No time like the present, because there may not be much time left ! And, like always, the
    rent must be paid.

******The Story continues now in "The Mission" and the epilogue "Salvation"******

    2.Story: "The Mission"
The monastery has been destroyed, and all but a few Hammerites who were abducted by the Trickster's minions remain alive deep below the earth. All life on th surface of the earth has been wiped out except for 2 Keepers. The Sun has been layered in dust from the impact of the Asteroid on the earth's surface. Soon an ice age will occur, and the waters of the earth will freeze. The stars and soon the red moon will vanish from sight. The Inquisitor was slain, and the scrolls dids't vanish once again! The minions came up from the earth shortly after the impact of the asteroid to make sure human life was at it's end, and to place 7 guardians to keep the Scrolls of Virtue desolate forever. Soon more shockwaves will come, followed by a complete devastation of the earth"s surface. Nuclear winter will follow. Garrett has a scroll in his inventory, but at the start of "The Mission" (Spoiler, do not read until finishing "Revelations Part 1" )The Ultimate of Secrets is now understood and known. Not possible when anyone is still in the flesh. Only death reveals the secret sought by almost everyone on earth.

    3.Story: "Salvation"
Deep below the earth, a parrell system of caverns was formed made after the Maw. Being difficult to traverse, the Trickster knew anyone still alive on earth would not be able to reach the abyss of purgatory. There in the pit of purgatory exists the only human life left on earth. Garrett must make his way to the bowels of the earth to save a handful of the Builder's Brethren.

4.Story. "Shine on You" A tribute to the Game and to the Players in the World of Thief.

Refined "The Mission","Salvation" and added a 4th mission "Shine on You"
Changed some gameplay features in "The Mission", and also in "Salvation" After a month of public beta on Version 1.1, I thought it needed some refinement and some added game play features. "Salvation" had the most extensive work done to refine it, and added some new Models, and changed the difficulty to present more of a serious challenge. More of a challenge now on all difficulties. If you re-play it, you will find refining of textures in "Salvation", and some added game play, new models ect. Game play has been altered slightly in "The Mission"
as I thought it might not be a strong enough challenge for most advanced players.

I would highly recommend allowing the videos (briefing, cutscenes to play for the sake of understanding and following the story better. I attempted to diminish the need for a lot of readables in "The Mission", and in "Salvation" as the story ending in "Revelations" leads to the continuing stories.

I remade all of the original videos to produce a better quality of viewing overall. There are now 5 custom XVID Videos. The file size did increase slighty by 40 megs, but I won't sacrifice quality for a file size. If you don't or cannot play the xvid videos, I have a link below where you can download the 5 custom Indeo codec videos that Thief uses by default.

Videos: Check to see if you are able to play XVID videos, if not, go to: http://download.cnet.com/Xvid-Codec/...-76088741.html

    Important Playing Information:

Disable Ep.crf by renaming it ,epbak.crf , then after you finish playing the campaign, rename it as it was originally ep.crf. Enable Mantling, as you will experience some obstacles that require it.

"The Mission": Main Objective To acquire the stolen scrolls, keep going even if you miss one or two or so on, because the sequence will repeat forever until you have acquired all 7 of them.

Here are the original Indeo Codec 5 custom videos
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_k...ew?usp=sharing

Instructions:If you are using fm-selector, go to your Thief 2 directory, and locate the folder named: fms. Inside this folder is the fm folder: CCR_Campaign_V1_2a. Delete the movies inside the Movies folder, and extract the zip into the Movies folder. There are 5 custom movies: b20.avi,b21.avi,b23.avi,ending.avi, and Death.avi
They will not interfere with your Stock Thief 2 movies.

If you are using anything but fm-selector, then extract the zip into a temp folder. If you don't want the custom Death.avi in your Main Movies folder in your Thief 2 directory, just copy and paste the 4 custom movies into it. "MOVIES"b20.avi,b21.avi,b23.avi,and ending.avi When you are finished playing the entire fm, then delete the movie.avi's listed here. The movies listed here will not overwrite any of your stock Thief 2 movies.

    Newest version 1.2a https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_k...ew?usp=sharing
Fixed pixelated water in "The Mission" and in "Salvation" Minor fix, just the water. This should be the end of revisions.

    New V1.2 here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_k...ew?usp=sharing

Lord Soth has provided a link to his site: http://www.taffersparadise.net/thief...paign_V1.2.zip Thankyou Lord Soth!

    Old Version
    SouthQuarter: http://www.southquarter.com/download...paign_V1.1.zip

It was tested using Darkloader V4.3, and Fm-selector v.1.1.1.

The story not very clear to most that played the revised edition V1.4:http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthrea...velations+V1.4 might just make a little more sense with the sequel and epilogue.

No more revisions will be made at this time. Later on, if anyone would like multi-language placed, pm me.

The zip is a hefty 494 mb, the reason being, I had to replace a lot of the ambients in the original CCR, and didn't want compressed .wav format due to loss of quality.

A special thanks to freesound.org for the gifted ambient creators. SenguMuramasa "Darkness Within" Main Ambient-"The Mission"
All credits appear in the readme.

Finished! Well, sort of. In the last mission i didn't find all of the weapons and when i saved all of the hammerites (great part by the way) i couldn't return to the Builder (i was really surprised seeing him the first time). I assume that would have been the end?

Great campaign. The first mission i kind of knew even if it has been so long since i played the original, i remembered a lot
The second one was really great, though the first time i missed the timed-event and couldn't get the scrolls. Nothing a good reload won't fix I really liked the many types of enemies.

Missed a lot of secrets but found 4 secrets in the first cavern in the last mission. Was really surprised that all of those were secrets

I had lots of fun with it. Thanks again for your hard work!

Mission 3: I must be disoriented but where are the Hammerites? I have the Sword, all 7 virtues carved in stone, the joy of having seen the Builder himself, lots of weapons - though not all of them - and I searched the whole place from the entrance down to the locked "gate of no return".
The portal down there led me back to the main cave. However, I could not inactivate one of its elemental smokes because I have never found a gas arrow...

Great campaign. A (strong) hint would be appreciated to save those poor souls...

    Hi csamba,

You were very close to the pit of purgatory, as the gate of no return is the gate to it. Make your way back there, and just keep going a few more feet. Use water arrows to defeat the fire elementals. If you are referring to the all seeing eyes, then the kill objective must be completed. You can use your sword to defeat the last eye, but save some holy water to get across the Bridge of life. There are no gas arrows in the mission.

These are the objectives you need to complete in order to pass the Gate of no return

    Thank you DarthsLair,

it's all done now! I did not immediately recognized the correct order of the objectives - though I should have guessed that the stone tablets must be used somewhere... Wow, what a spectacular ending!

A gorgeous campaign. I must replay it immediately to find the missing secrets (about 50% in each mission).

I can't seem to fill Specimen Jar A. The dust in one of the three tombs (the one near the door leading up to the keeper of the maps) does not highlight.

You are probably in the wrong building. The only three that will give you ash are in St. Vales, St. Tennor's and St. Yora's.

The readme says there is a lootlist by Ricebug included in the zip. I can't find it. What's it called, and is it in the main T2 folder or in a subfolder?

I'm in the second mission. Great fun exploring such familiar territory but with many changes and weird enemies. Two thumbs up!

I am running in circles now, though, because I have not been able to fulfill the 'food, water and flares' objective. I have found five food boxes, five water flasks and 30 flares (I used a few...). What am I missing?

EDIT: Found it. A pack of flares behind Watchman's gravestone.

Wow, feels like I have turned every stone twice in this mission, and I am still 950 loot (and 2 secrets) short of the maximum! DarthsLair impresses me with the 'hiding stuff' skills.

Also, another loose end: I found the Inquisitor down in the winter tunnels. Found a scroll next to him, and his body is frobbable but I can't pick him up. Am I supposed to 'use' something on his body?
