Thief Gold FM : The Crazy Priest (21/1/2015)

    The Hammerites ... are back

You need to sneak into their temple.

Then, you need to find where the Crazy Priest is hiding...

A description: This is a generic Thief Gold mission... Nothing special - go, loot, kill the Crazy Priest.

Brother Merek is a crazy priest. I know that. You know that. Even the Hammerites know
that, but they've pretending that the problem doesn't exit. Maybe it's because Brother
Merek and his lackeys were successful in reclaiming large parts of the Sealed Section
in the Olde Quarter and they're no longer infested with the undead.

The problem is that Brother Merek is obsessed with imprisoning fellow thieves and thanks to him
there are more prisoners than available cells in Cragscleft.

That's why I've decided to do the world a favour and send Brother Merek to the afterlife, or
something like that. I don't know what these Hammerites believe in, but whatever safe place
their Master Builder has prepared for their poor souls, it is better for Merek and everybody else than the City.

Meanwhile I don't want to miss the opportunity to steal some of their valuables. I hope I'll have
    a fun night...

Don't worry! Your result (inability to be played) was quite valuable and another round of testing was necessary. Plus, I learned a lot.

And we still have to find out what's wrong with your Thief installation.

Hey, thanks! The intro video was something that I decided to rush yesterday... In fact, everything was done within a hour and a half.

I guess most of people will notice I put a lot of efforts within the interior of the temple. It's no secret - I love drawing churches... I think that of all my mission, this church is the best I've ever modelled - and in some cases it's even superior to what you saw in HGS - Secrets of Avidan.

Small hint: Use a rope arrow somewhere in the area.

lol, ive reached an area where garrett feels nausea

lets see if i can find that key

ohhh. lol, found it just above that area

There is also another gem in the zombie area, outside

And also a Tiara on the head of a statue, next to the main entrance. It's perhaps the biggest challenge for many people - many people use the side entrance, yes, and they forgot that the temple has two rooms.

    I hope you'll enjoy it

Btw I came across a hater's forum for Thief (wave: I see you ).

And my mission got criticized in a very strange way. A guy said that it's visually stunning, I have skillfully used ambients and lightning... But it's too old-fashioned, huh

Well, this is what Thief is about, guys... I love old-School taffing. I also love new-School taffing and I enjoy Thief 4, but hm... Thief 1 is good because it's what it is...

By the way, I'm thinking about creating an old-school prison mission. Like Cragscleft. Oh, I bloody love it. It's just DromEd brushes. Simple dromed brushes. And they don't even use electric bulbs there! Just omni light points around. So cool... I think I can reimagine something like that.

Did you find the one behind a pilar, when you exit the tunnel and turn right?

Did you find the candle inside the chapel?

Holy crap, give me the link! Sounds entertaining. If it's by who I think it might be, I'm sure it will be pretty hilarious.
