I see your true colours shining through (are they talking about the blood perhaps?)...

Having watched this a couple of time now I must admit that this version of Cyndie Lauper's classic has really grown on me. It's got this wonderful melancholy creepiness to it that would befit any modern day horror movie but I can't quite get used to it as a background to Dark Souls.

Yeah same here, I listened to this song quite a few times since this trailer.

Although I must admit, that the custom music fan version of the trailer has a more fitting tune.

If anyone's into Dark Souls lore, I will just say that Vaati's latest DkS3 preview will probably make your hype for the game go through the roof.

    Linking the whole series:

I only watched a little bit of one of the videos for reasons mentioned earlier, but great to see that the kicking move is back and parrying appears to work the same way that it does in DS1.

Someone needs to do a mashup of the new DS3 trailer with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.

It's the one Cyndi Lauper song that most fits DS. Well, that or maybe Goonies R Good Enough.

Saw a good one with Rawhide ("Rolling Rolling Rolling") but can't seem to find it. While the lyrics were pretty apt, it was again not sung by Cindy Lauper

Are people here planning to play on PC or console?

    Already bought the PC version.

Release date is coming. Can't help but feel that "Asswhooping incoming, prepare you ass" sense of dread/anticipation.

Same here. I've never pre-ordered anything before but I went for the deluxe edition.

Aiming for PC version as well, but not on a launch day. I haven't finished DS2: SotFS yet, so I'll probably wait for the Prepare to Die Over and Over Again Edition.

I'll get the PC version, but really need to complete the first two first.

I'll be getting the PC version (game + season pass) once GMG drops a discount on the preorder - they usually do shortly before release. Steam price is too much.

Wanted to order the PC collector's edition, but it seems I'm too late

I'm following Malleus' lead. I'm going to preorder it, but I'll wait until a couple days before release, when GMG will likely offer a discount coupon for it.

...but damn, just a month away. I can't wait.

    Of course!

...if the PS4 version allows cross-platform co-op with PCs, that is.

    I don't have a PS4, Duck.

But you have a PC, so I don't understand why you just don't play it there, you sellout.

Here's the opening intro for the Japanese release: [seems a little spoilerish] http://www.kotaku.com.au/2016/03/hel...aunch-trailer/
FS, or whomever produce these for them, are definitely masters of making kickass videos.

Just a little over two weeks, and I'll be Dark Souls'n again.

Fortunately, I'll have something to bide my time with. Hyper Light Drifter comes out on the 31st. That'll easily keep me occupied in the meanwhile.
