Give yourself or something near you a light with negative brightness and see if it goes down to crytex17.

That would be interesting but it didn't work. I went 0 on amb, then closed off myself into a cube with a torch with neg 200. Light gem looked the same as I was just in the dark. About level 11. Eitherway, it paves the way to learn more. Thank you Purgator!

    Try invisibilty?

It sets the light to 0.

    Thanks gamophyte!
Cosas have a very cool light gem pack.
I'm just trying to figure out the textures myself. I copied whatever LGS had in their folder, to be honest, and made my own set based on that number. If you want to find a source picture for a gem, type 'Baguette gem stone' into your favourite search engine.

    Spot on, Chris.

Yeah I figured that's what you did, but now it makes me curious, like maybe they had more levels and AI response originally planned.

Awesome advice, I wouldn't ever have known what that was called. My first attempt though I was going to actually shine a light through a crystal I have here at home, just to see how good it might come out. If it's awesome, I have some other steampunk-ish ideas for insetting it. Will post at WIP thread, hope I'm not spamming, just fun to share.

I've created a YouTube Channel for some more Thiefy stuff!
If poorly rendered movies are your bag, scoot on over to 'Purgator's Thief Channel'.
I'll refrain from adding a link to my signature, but do drop on in and say hello if you feel so inclined.

    Spot on, Chris.

    Here's a stained glass pack.
It has a terrain texture, reflection object and a light shaft object (reflection object Ottoj55/light shaft Alun Bestor).
The model object will have to be resized in DromEd to suit its purpose.

If you should need to change the name on the glass to reflect a different name, drop me a line or feel free to edit as you see fit.
Edit: Okay. It is a projection, strictly speaking.
