    Item on Map change...

    Hello folks,

    Is it possible to keep an (custom) inventory item during a map change?
    I have set up my item like the heal portion but after i change the map the item is gone.

    I hope someone have an idea to solve my problem.

    Maybe you should try this:
    1) ActorClassBrowser/WorldObj/InventoryObject/PowerUp/anywhere(Bomb/Potion/Arrow/Misc/):Create a base item. This item is the "pickable" version of your item, this will go to the map, where you can pickup. Copy any other item, or create a new, then edit it.
    2) Create your "true" item (this will go to the inventory, where it can used). Place it somewhere (Under projectiles, or next to the pickable item, where you want). Edit ist properties as you want.
    3) RighClick on your "pickable" item, then set it to "Placeable" (you will find the swith under the items properties, after you set it to placeable, a small star will appear after its name). This will enable the item to place it anywhere, you hant on the level (in the editor).
    4) Make an InventorySwitchLink FROM "pickable item" TO "true item (or inventory item)".
    If you frob the pickable item, it will switch to the inventory item, and it should stay with you untikl it consumed.

    Thank You for Your quick response.

    But with Your solution the item is gone too after a map change or going through a loading zone.
    Have You maybe an another tip for me? (maybe with global vars...).

    I try to make foot eatable: (done)
    Player frob bread, apple,... (done)
    Item appers in the inventory (done)
    Player can use foot from inventory (done)
    Keep foot in inventory during swiching a map (don't work)

    You missed the inventory swich step. Copy the flash bomb, broadhead arrow, mines etc...they will show you how this system works.
