Is there an easy strategy to reach the zeppelin?
I've tried and died like a dozen times and gave up.

What is easy to some comes hard to others. I never could reach the zeppelin. Once you get there, however, the mission ends and you go to the last mission. There's nothing to do once you get there.

    Thanks, Ricebug.

It's a nice demo though, of what can be achieved with this gameengine (esp. top-view like a vertical scroller shooter)

There is no easy way and imo he made it too difficult, although I did make it through once (out of ~25 tries) with a couple health left. You miss nothing by skipping the level but the effects of flight done with the dark engine really is a cool achievement.

I had only 2 attempts. I use the "left(A)" and "right(D)" keys. The airplane moves slightly to the left or to the right.

We'll need to see a playthrough video of that!

I somehow managed it to get into the zeppelin on my first attempt... just used the w, a and d button. Probably I did something wrong.

Could someone confirm the controls for me? W S D control movement. Pressing space or the right mouse button seems to make the front wobble but nor sure what difference this makes. Also the icons in the places where the weapons and items would normally be - I gather that the left gives a bird's eye view but how do you actually activate it?

I did get to the Zepplin quite quickly so no real problems, just would like to know for future reference.

Interesting mission. Never flied in a Thief game before.
