Game crashes to desktop after the conversation at a locked gate between the hammerite and guard in mission 1.
I worked around it by staying away from the gate.
Mission 2 won't even start .Crashes right after the Title script.

Loaded with FMSel on easy.No enhancement packs installed that I know of.

Hmmmm, no one saw this during test. After either crash, look for crash.dmp and thief2.log and ZIP them up and provide a link, and I'll try to figure it out.

You can't. Just sneak past her and then when you let the other mechanical thing free opening the safe, run to the elevator and get out the way you came in.

    Some blatantely stupid question:

I found millers key but where do I use it?

There is also a locked cellar door next to the jeweller. Where is the key?

I found a chest with 2 locks on it in the alcoholics apartment. I found the key for the right one, where is the key for the left one?

    EDIT: Playing on expert difficulty

@Indy: As Unna said, water will slow her down for a short time. You can also disable the cherub guardian before opening the safe, if you're observant. But sneaking around Delilah is your best bet.

@Thinking Robot: Miller's key opens the safe next to the cherub guardian. The key to the artist's basement is in his apartment, on the mantle. The two keys to the chest are on Clara (probably the one you got already) and in the small office off Boris' bedroom (where the thieves Clara sent have broken in and are looking for it).

You must have some magic lock picks, mine won't open that door

rustmite: Lock picks can be used on that door on Normal and Hard, but not Expert.

You can use a noisemaker to lure her on the elevator then send her to third floor, then rope arrow down

I can't find the key or way to open the chest in Redface's apartment on the second floor

Also: Does the pulsing red light in Millers basement serve any purpose except being pretty scary and ominous?

Just started this campaign. So enjoying exploring the various establishments. Astonishing so far!

One thing I noticed, when crossing the threshold from outdoors to indoors, the inside room's lighting suddenly goes from having a greyish haze to a regular indoor no-haze lighting. The change is very abrupt and breaks immersion ever so slightly, which is why I'm mentioning it. Is this on my end only or something others have seen?
