An excellent mission and wonderful Christmas gift! Atmosphere and readables were great. Story was very intriguing and left me wanting more.

    All in all...

Outright spoiler: in the secret compartement behind a painting (frob book to open)
Thanks for the tip. I was there earlier and read the letters but did nothing about it and forgot all about it too....like a taffer. The bank's list of depositors which had the name Blackwell was confusing since I assumed a person by that name was renting the box and gave the keys to some anonymous person who would come by later with the key to claim what was in the deposit box. This way the illegal activity won't be traced back to Blackwell.

Thanks for the tips about the mysterious key guys. That was a bit of the map I hadn't explored!

Just completed this wonderful legacy mission of Lady Rowena. Sure wish the story would continue , but thankful we were able to enjoy this one at least.

    2. Candlestick on low wooden roof outside bank manager's kitchen
    3. Enter low balcony S the wooden roof in #2 (jump/drop down from pipe)
    4. Purse above Hammerites' fireplace in kitchen (their main place, not the workshop)
    5. Open passage in house you enter from ventilation gate (switch to the left of unfrobbable door's frame)
    6. Rope into apartment at Swan Crescent 4, open secret behind painting (a classic 'frob book' switch)
    7. The screenshot easter egg: SE-most block, rope up above (unfrobbable) door at Winding Road 2 and slash banner (easiest done standing on the lamp)
    8. Key to safety box nr 20: in bank, on top of combination lock mechanism
Hi, i am thankful too for letting us play this lost and found mission! Missing the other 2 missions, yeah, the end of the story, it could have been great as well, for sure... but it was a real pleasure playing this one! Nice story, nice city.Thank you!
I found only 7 secrets out of 8, i think i missed the 3rd one in this list could you please give a more exact hint for it? Thanks in advance.

I uploaded a picture to here. The arrow points from the pipe I wrote about. It's easiest to get up on the pipe from the other side but possible from this side as well, via the lamp.

(Might also be possible to do a running strafe-jump-mantle from the canal edge, but I suck at those with such a short distance to start the running...)

I don't know what to say. I'm crying over this FM.
You must know I chatted a lot with Adriana when her husband died so we build up a kind of friendship.
I never knew she was making a FM like this one, with teddybears and a poem for me. All is so sweet what she wrote.
I cried when she died and I'm crying now again, because she left me this present.
Thank you Yandros (and others) for making this possible.
I'ts a great tribute to our Lady Rowena as we all know her.
    RIP dear Adriana

This was a fantastic mission and the ending was perfect.

    Rest in Peace Lady!

    Legacy of a Lady

    How we miss Lady Rowena.
Her missions always show excellent architecture and beautiful interiors.
The campaign had promise to be another jewel in her crown, but we must be content with this pearl of a mission.

Many thanks to those who worked to bring this mission to fruition and release.

Am I being really dumb here ??
I just can't get going at all.
The "shack" door isn't open. There's nothing to frob or pickpocket and I have no tools apart from the picks.

I am on the point of giving up completely

There is a curtain in your apartment, hiding a small room with your equipment. Then exit through one of the two windows.

You don't start this FM even with lockpicks though, they're found along with your other equipment on all difficulties, plus you're in an upstairs apartment with two obvious windows to exit from, not really a "shack". Sounds like a different FM??

    No, I'm definitely playing HSH.
    Thanks for the prompt replies.

I didn't start at "home", wherever that is, but in a small nook with an open window and a note about not leaving the harbour shack open as the underwater gate control is in there, then there's a tiny cranny you can squeeze through to get to the waterside.
The whole place is heavily guarded and craftily lit, but I managed to open the shutters and clamber inside to flick the switch.
From there, I find a blackjack on the other side of the harbour and can start crackin' skulls

    Love Lady Rowena's missions.
They always feel superior, even to the original game.

Is there anything weird in the bank ?

    Well besides me

I've opened & cleaned out the vault & all the lockboxes

I keep hearing a hissing noise like there's a spider somewhere, seems louder on the upper floor but I can't find anything

Probably just my ears or a sound added to raise tension

Reloaded my latest save. I hear only the ambient sounds and the ticking of the grandfather clock up there. But spider sounds can travel quite far. Maybe I've killed one (and you haven't) in a place nearby? I looked around a bit but couldn't think of a place where there was a spider.

Just finished this with only around 3/4 of all loot and secrets... WOW! Now, I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to FMs (only got into it a few months ago) but have generally been going after the more highly praised ones (from what I could gather in forum posts, ratings etc.). Home Sweet Home EASILY ranks among the top missions I've played... Environment is nice and very atmospheric (love all the Venice style canals and houses).
Obviously, being a newbie to FMs and this forum, I never knew Lady Rowena, but man... You can easily tell from this mission that she was very talented in all aspects of fan mission creation, from level design to writing... everything just flows and is a pleasure to draw in.
The very first FM I ever played was actually The Tower, also by Lady R, and I remember thinking "Wow!, so this is what fan missions are all about - amazing"... I am sad the world will never see another fan mission from her, but ever grateful for the ones she did create while still here, and occasionally stumbling across a forum post from her, clearly reflecting a passion and curiosity for creating great mission content, it fills me with warmth and joy.
I will go on to play Rowenas Curse and The Seven Sisters.

Thank you, and rest in piece Lady R.

The city is a labyrinth, and you don't even get a compass? I endured maybe 5 min

What are you talking about? You have a compass (at least I did), and while I agree the city has lots of little streets, nooks and crannies... Its what makes it great, believable and atmospheric.. Its all centered around a nice market in the middle which is fairly easy to always find your way back to... I would give it another shot

For a compass: Just remember to dress up properly before leaving your apartment and going out... There is a walk-in closet with some (loose) coat hooks.

Where can I find key to the deposit safe 3? According to the note from the bank this key is on 1 Winding Road. But I've seached everywhere and I can't find the entrance.
